Kilwins Ice Cream - Chocolate - Fudge — Restaurant in Deerfield Beach

Firstly, we aren’t tourists. We came down from Saint Pete to visit friends. We will never go to this Kikwins again. Our Kilwins on Beach Dr is 100% better in ever way.

Customer service provided by Linda and Cindy today 18-August was pitiful. They were equally rude and had zero clue what true customer service is. They spoke in a condescending tone to us. Cindy made an error on the register which she refused to acknowledge. She ended up processing a refund to my card which was not the most efficient way to handle the error. Now I have to wait for the refund to go back to my card. Linda was very unprofessional. Even took the time to contradict what she THOUGHT we had said about how to ring up our party. Because the pair of them couldn’t communicate effectively with us or themselves, the error was made. Own up ladies. It really wouldn’t have been a big deal. Time to retire perhaps?

Don’t get me started about the prices in this Kilwins. I called our to compare prices. Mostly because I knew this place was ripping people off. Their mark up from the Saint Pete location is at least $2.50 for some things. A simple smoothie at Deerfield is $9.75. At Saint Pete is it $7.00.

Tourists beware. There are much better options in Deerfield. Stay away...

I love this place. We have been going to the Deerfield location for 16 years now but this last visit today was so terrible I had to write a review. The girl working the counter was obviously miserable and unhappy to be there. She rolled her eyes and sighed at everything. Terrible customer service and RUDE!!! Very disappointed because I had never had this kind of experience here. Later I used the only bathroom they had and when another customer needed to know if someone was inside she kicked the door rather than knocking. I know it was her because I could hear them from inside the bathroom. I know it was a Sunday but if she’s the only person for that shift it’s almost better not to even bother opening the store for such rotten service! I will go back for their amazing ice creams but in all honesty hopefully they can hire...

Walk to the store a couple times a week for my pecan Carmel apple, which they NEVER have. The girl yesterday told me she doesn’t know how to make them and she would make sure the guy who does will make them tomorrow and put one aside for me. So I walk back there today (I’m 74) and as expected no apple. The manager said he’s too busy to make them and he can’t train the “young kids”. I’ve lived in the area for years and I’m constantly begging for them to make me an apple :( I guess I’m going to have to get in my car and drive to another location. This was happening prior to Covid so staffing issues isn’t really an excuse at this point. So disappointed with the service and someone who calls...
