Am a Peruvian living in South Florida since the early 90s and this place was recommended by a long time Peruvian family friend and foodie. First time my father and I walked in and ordered takeaway. Our order ended up taking 1 hour and 20 mins and people were walking in ordering and eating before us. The staff didn't seem too concerned. As we paid and left, a man, whom i assume is the owner/exec chef, made excuses and said they had to fillet the fish haha! Don't even think we got an apology just BS excuses and bad attitude. We left very upset. Very recently, I decided to give it another shot and take a friend. We walked inside and the tables were taken. It was storming just moments before so i asked for a reservation soonest when one of tables would open. Again, just a lot of useless conversation, excuses and bad attitude. He wouldn't take our reservation and rudely told us there were 5 open tables outside on the sidewalk! We left immediately and i told my friend i would never be back. As a Peruvian , I am embarrassed by this man (owner/chef?) attitude and hospitality. In no way does it reflect our people. He thinks he is a hot shot restauranteur i think. Maybe he belongs in Miami where he can be rude and people will still hand him their money. I'm no sucker. From now on I will stick with the better Peruvian food we cook at my family and friends' homes. The company will be better too! I will make sure to tell our big circle of Peruvians in South Florida the same. See u never...
Read moreFood is great, one of the best Peruvian food I've had BUT as some people here said, their service can be a lot better. The waitresses were nice but I had purchased a groupon worth $40 for four when I first arrived I made the waitress aware that I was using this Groupon ( it was 4 of us) the waitress said it was ok as long as I purchased $40 worth of food (which I did, 3 plates). When it was time to pay a different waitress than the one from the beginning tells me that I can't use the Groupon because it's supposed to be 4 plates, if I would've known this from the begging for I would've gotten 4 plates. After explaining to her this wasn't voiced to me from the beginning and that I had made a far drive to come here she finally agreed to use the Groupon which was a nice courtesy of her. Then she comes and tells me the total it's missing a little bit to get to $40 so I agreed to buy a flan, she went a head and charged me the flan at full price not deducting the amount I had left from the $40 but I left it like that because she was nice enough to take the Groupon . I was so over the experience that I tipped and took my change and left. Once I get home I see that they owed me $5 from my change which it's not much but still it's the kind of service they provided me with. Great food but please work on your service to your customers. Just some...
Read moreAmazing food, the service is more casual as the restaraunt ambiance and overall feel, has the feel of being at a friendâs table ... I happen to like that as not many restaraunts canât manage to achieve that feeling, but I see some people dislike that and demanda more formal service. As a business format it is different but it absolutely works for me as well as many other people... I think the day Iâm in a formal service mood I can go to Magggianoâs or Frank & Dino and get the service but absolutely pay for it!! Ahh yes the food!! The reason for the visit(s). The food is just amazing, the Lomo Saltado, the fried fish with seafood sauce is also epic. The desserts!!!! Wow!!! Theyâre ina different league than any other restaurant in the area. All their dishes are well thought out, master expertly executed to perfection, with a well banlanced menu, also finely designed with most excellent choices. I absolutely recommend this La Panza restaurant, we keep coming...
