Pizza Pro's — Restaurant in DeKalb Township

I have lived in DeKalb for 15 years and never tried the place until recently, as it was recommended to me by one of my students. I do not cook, so I either eat out or have food delivered for practically every meal. The food was amazing, and I was extremely excited to discover that there is a restaurant in DeKalb that would deliver more than pizza and sandwiches!! The order I placed today was written down incorrectly by the person taking the order and consequently, the wrong item was delivered to the house. When I called back to inform them that the wrong item was delivered, the man immediately launched into a diatribe of anger. He insisted that I was wrong, said that I had never ordered that item, and that he does NOT make mistakes. He said that he would make the other item, but he would have to charge for it. He treated me as if I was some vagrant trying to rip him off. He never even asked what I wanted to do about the mistake, which, actually, was nothing - I just wanted him to know that it was incorrect, and I was planning to inquire about the best way to prevent this mistake in the future. Had I actually wanted to get the item I ordered, I would happily have paid the difference in the cost of the meals, and even tipped the driver again. To the owner of Pizza Pros: when you deliver food to a 325 lb man with new cars in his driveway and a $4 tip on a $15 meal, you BE NICE to THAT man! The arrogance, insolence, and effrontery I experienced today seems to be concurrent with other comments in these reviews, and the insistence today that you were right over a few dollars has cost you thousands of dollars worth of meals from what was potentially a very long...

Extremely nice staff. We were on the road heading into Dekalb, but we were running late on time to get to our event. We wanted to eat here because it's close to where we head to in that area and very easy to get to. So I called to see if I could place our order over phone so it would be ready shortly after we arrived so we could make it to our meeting.

When I placed our order I was bummed we couldn't exactly order two 5 buck specials to same table but they told me of another special that worked out even better and left us enough to take home, that our young adult son loved. They give you a very nice cardboard box for pizza leftovers. Most places give you a styrofoam small container that you have to stack pizza on top of each other. Nope not at pizza pros. Box was big enough for ours.

Prices are very reasonable and we have decided this is the only place we want to eat at when we make our visit twice a year for thr event we attend.

Very, very, very, clean inside, easy to park, lots of parking, friendly staff who smile also. They reserved a table for us without even asking. Nice inside, with not having to sit to close to anyone, meaning nice and comfortable surroundings. Very relaxing going there. Tons of tvs with a variety of sports on playing on them.

Went to Pizza Pros for the first time Friday evening around 5pm with my girlfriend and son. We wanted to see if this will be our go to restaurant so we tried a bunch of different foods. Chili dogs for the sin, sausage and pepperoni pizza, the beef roll, and the BBQ burger. For appetizers we had chicken tenders. All of the good was amazing and I can say this is the best pizza that's in DeKalb at this point. I've tried different pizza and Pizza Pros live up to their name. The Italian Beef rolls tasted a lot better than even Portillos Italian beef. It was crazy. I couldn't believe how it just melted in your mouth. I didn't even need to dip it in the au ju. It was perfect. And that burger, was delightful as well. Way better than the rodeo burger from Burger King. Next up, the strawberry margaritas was so good, I'm going to be saving a margarita budget out of my checks just to go back for that. Whoever the bartender was making them, make sure y'all keep that person. Best margarita I've had in years. Also our server was amazing. She was very patient and catered to all of our needs. If I see her again I'll always request her to be our server. I wish I could remember her name but I think she had long dark hair and probably was around 5'6 5'7.
