05/05/24 (most recent visit been over a year and a half and I should have stayed staying away)...So we said we were going to stay away for awhile because we used to come once a week and we noticed it started slacking but we came today to toast the 10th anniversary of my mom passing on Cinco de Mayo with $1 ($1.50 flavored) margaritas (our favorites) and they were good as usual. The food was fair not hot and all we got was a table full of different appetizers and it took awhile to come out. The service was very bland. The thing that ticked me off and had me about to go to the other Applebee's was the hostess and group standing up there....so we waited a bit to be seated only to be taken to the seating in the bar area. We were the only ppl put there when I walk up the smell was awful like vomit. I cannot and will not sit in an area to eat with the smell of vomit (oh and be told it's probably the bar water like eww now do I want drinks!!). Anyway I ask to change sears and it seemed like a joke because they start laughing. I ask again and I'm asked why so I say it again. Now there are two other two party couples (like me) so why didn't you offer them the seating in the same area you just had us sitting in. We were asked to wait and then asked if a table was ok in a sarcastic manner then everyone else was asked (I felt it was being asked being smart), so one of the couples asks for a high top table (where we were just seated mind you) and they were told that section was closed so either I had a valid point and all the laughing and stuff was for nothing or.....seems like no other answer! They never sat a soul in that area or at that table the whole time we were there. Also, not sure if this is something new or whatever but after we had 2 margaritas we were told oh I should have told you sooner but there is a 3 drink limit. I have as I said been a regular here and never was told that before plus, we watched others keep getting drinks so yeah I'm done at this Applebee's and its for good this time!
09/25/22 (most recent visit ordered curbside) The food tonight was cold and dry (I ordered the salmon, broccoli and loaded mashed potatoes. My daughter ordered the appetizer sampler although she asked for bleu cheese, sour cream and marinara sauce she only got the marinara sauce (she said her food was just ok also cold though). So we were told 20 mins got there in 30 called in our spot was told someone would bring out food out shortly waited 17 mins (yup I clocked it) and still no food (thought maybe it was still being prepared so we went in to get it). It was just sitting there nobody around (no wonder it was cold). I wish this Applebee's wasn't the most convenient to me! Get it together Kirkwood Highway Applebee's. Hopefully the manager will FINALLY look and acknowledge a customer complaint.
I usually enjoy my food but last night it was not a good experience. The food wasn't ready when we went to pick it up. The food was not good no sauce on the boneless wings the chicken quesadillas were dry I ordered extra sauce and Bleu cheese neither were included and the Bahama Mama was not worth the money. I'm gonna give this Applebee's a rest for awhile.
So I did what I said and gave Applebee's a rest. We ordered it yesterday and it was HORRIFIC! I'm over Applebee's. Plus the fact that they don't even say anything they don't even respond to customer complaints probably because they have so many complaints. Please see the pics of this horrible grilled cheese I was supposed to feed to my nephew. Hard bread I mean he couldn't bite it, cold cheese, missing fries the other food was cold smh...
Read moreIt Started Out Horribly! The Barmaid took our Drink Orders, Along with our Meal orders. She wrote our Meal Orders down, but not our Drink Orders. My friend has to take meds prior to eating & also had asked for a Glass of Water. Not only did the Barmaid come back to our side Bar Table empty-handed without my friend's Glass of Water, she asked what Our Drink Orders were again. We ordered our drinks, appetizers & meals at 2:11, we received our Appetizers before receiving our drinks. I asked the Barmaid for the Glass of Water & she said she would be right over, she wasn't! After several minutes had gone by my friend had gotten up & proceeded to the Bar to speak with the Barmaid about not only her water, but our drinks. The Barmaid not only slammed our drinks down on the our table, she got snippy & copped an Attitude when we asked to speak to the Manager. When we received our drinks it was 2:34 with Half of our Appetizers eaten, so they wouldn't get cold. Everything up until that point was shot from us ever going back to that Applebee's ever again. Then the Manager came out & Intervened. He Accommodated us with Apologies, Complimentary, Drinks & Appetizers. He also checked on our meals to make sure they were cooked to Perfection of our liking before Serving our Meals to us himself. We Didn't Give The Barmaid the Tip, we gave it to The Manager. He deserved it more than she did. Her Barside Hospitality is PissPoor & the Tip for her is as follows.... I was a Server for The Dupont Country Club early 2000's after Working there Mowing The Country Club Golf Course from the 1980's thru Early 2000. I am an Experienced Server that Served the Likes of Jeff Gordon amongst so many other TopNotch Athlete's & Reputable Respectable People. I myself with only 3 weeks Experience Serving in the Ball Rooms was asked to Serve A Party with a Hostess & Her 24 Guests, Alone. I made more than your Barmaids & Waitresses Probably Make in 1 Paycheck in 3 Hours that day, Serving Brunch!
For The Barmaid/Server That Didn't Complete The Job You Were Hired To Do Thoroughly & Correctly. Make Sure You Have Glasses Of Water In Your Hands With Napkins When Coming To Take A Customer's Order Next Time. You may not get Reprimanded & receive Better Tips In The Future.

Read moreI definitely will not be going to this location ever again and I will be taking the issues I had here up as high as I need to. Your cooks made our food completely wrong, steaks pink, stuff on certain meals that weren't supposed to be and we spent almost a hundred dollars there and I had to put in several complaints to hear back from anyone and at first they offered my food back once I was able to get back there than someone from guest relations responded saying they would refund me. Well just like they supposedly couldn't find my complaints which I have proof of, they couldn't find my order supposedly either. After weeks of back and forth and being told I'd get my money back and the food made again, now the manager tried to say she would just mail me a $20 credit. I don't think so. You don't offer someone a refund, offer to remake their food and do neither of the two. I simply asked several times just remake the food since we were already offered by another manager to have them remake it once we were able to get back there and this other manager went back and forth with me for weeks saying she wanted to fix it for me etc etc but refuse to just simply even make my food again like they already offered to do. Forget the refund you never planned to give, how about the food we already were told would be remade again? What an insult to offer someone $20 after all that weeks of nonsense because you messed up someone's order. Once I asked who was above her she literally said she wouldn't be communicating with me anymore and refused to let me know who was above her which I have every right to know. So unprofessional.
