Crumbl — Restaurant in Delaware

Wish i could rate it a zero. I placed an order at 6pm, I arrived at the store at 6:30pm. There were people everywhere, cars parked everywhere, it was crazy. I selected the I'm here button on their app when I arrived. At 6:45pm I still had no information on my order. There was a lady who didn't even work for them handing out customers orders. She has way more organizational skills then the people being paid to work there. I know she was trying to help and it seemed like she was the only one. Orders were going out wrong left and right and she was taking the brunt of complaints and she does even worl there. I finally was able to make my way inside the store and speak with an actual worker. This lady acted as if she was not happy to be there and that i was bothering her from what it seemed like nothing as someone else not being paid was doing her job. I asked her kindly how much longer for my order seeing as I has placed it at 6pm and it was 645 pm. She said it was still going to be a while as I was far down on the list because unbeknownst and not published anywhere, they dont start your order until you select you are here. I don't understand if they are over an hour backed up why they are still accepting orders and also why there isn't a disclaimer stating that they are experiencing high volume and orders could be delayed in being processed. Over an hour for an online order is crazy, their cookies are not that good. Granted I understand it's their birthday and there was a sale but you plan for that when you know it's going to be busy. While I love the cookies/ cakes the experience I had with the staff completely ruined it for me. I will likely never go back. Not just once but 3x I had a poor experience. On the first occasion- I did a pick up order, the staff was rude, unprofessional and really made me feel uncomfortable. Second occasion- I tried the curbside pickup. When I got there I noticed the parking was in a fire lane, so I sat a little further back than the front of the store and notified them I had arrived through the app. After about 10 minutes I pulled forward a little so they were able to see me waited about 5 minutes and still no one came out with my order. (The store wasn’t super busy.) so I went inside, and asked about my order.. I didn’t complain or confront anyone, I really just wanted my order and to leave. Again, they were rude, unprofessional and I didn’t feel welcome. The third time- I did door dash, my cookie was delivered with the box ripped open.. I realize this isn’t the stores fault, so I contacted door dash who transferred me to the store because I ordered through the crumble app and the store answered, once again rude- placed me on hold to speak with a manager and the manager never answered. I sat on hold for approximately 20 minutes before just giving up. Just not a great experience, not horrific, but enough for me to no longer wanna go there. Hire...

i usually don’t write reviews, but this really upset me lol. my boyfriend just moved into college in maryland, and to celebrate we wanted crumbl cookie. the closest location was this one- in delaware. we ordered four cookies online on the app & drove the 45 minutes to pick them up. on the crumbl app, it says to notify the store when you’ve arrived, so i did so. we went into the store & didn’t see my name up on the board of orders. we waited around for about 10 minutes & then decided to tell one of the employees we were here for a pickup. she asked for the name, we told her, and she replied with, “oh! so the name i called awhile ago and nobody said anything?” then rolled her eyes & stomped off to the back. my boyfriend and i just looked at each other confused because we didn’t think we did anything wrong. (we selected the correct pickup time on the app and notified the store once we were there like it said to do.) she came back to the counter with our cookies and was still trying to be sassy towards us- mumbling under her breath & rolling her eyes. we just took the box of cookies, said thank you and got the hell out of there. weirdest & rudest crumbl experience ever. if i knew we were going to get treated like that for just picking up some cookies, we would’ve never made the drive. cookies look...
