Zoup! Eatery — Restaurant in Delaware

Most horrible experience I ever had. I placed an order online to get food delivered. Not once did the website mention door dash as the delivery company. I did not know this until after the order was placed and I got a text from door dash. Well with that being said I placed my order around 2:30 the text message I got said my order would arrive around 3:20PM. I get a message from the door dash delivery driver at 3:10 asking where I was located and I gave them the exact address AGAIN. Still waiting and waiting finally at 3:38 I call Zoup asking about my order. The lady that answered the phone apologized stated they have been having trouble with door dash not delivering orders and taking food. I been waiting for my food for over an 1hr 30 min. Finally I asked to speak to a manager who clearly had not clue about anything. I explained my order was never delivered and I been waiting for over an hr. Anyway to shorten this story. I asked for my money to be refunded immediately. Benjamin said he would call the owner and call me back. The owner stated I would have my refund in 2 days. EXCUSE YOU BUT NO SIR I WANT MY MONEY TODAY NO ORDER AND YOUR TELLING ME I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY MONEY. I been waiting to here for the owner for over 45 mins to call me and nothing. As a first time and LAST TIME CUSTOMER THIS IS HORRIBLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS. ALL I WANT IS MY REFUND TODAY AND I WILL NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH YOU GUYS AGAIN. USING THIRD PARTY DELIVERY COMPANIES YOUR BUSINESS IS JUST AS RESPONSIBLE AS THEM WHEN THINGS LIKE THIS OCCURS. Today I had the most disappointing experience that I have ever had spending my hard earned money. I ordered a salad and soup combo drove 30 minutes home realized that my salad was not in the bag. I called the store and this really aroma the kid got on the phone explaining the mix up, my wife and I drove 30 minutes back to the store to get a salad and wanted HOT SOUP to go with my salad and they refused. I run a business and I am a professional my behavior and demeanor reflected such. I asked to speak to the manager and this kid says I am more than the manager I am part owner and I am not gonna replace the soup and loose the profit because there was an issue with the salad. His exact words to me were you are not gonna come in here and strong arm me for soup. I frequent this business and even see the owner in places out in the public and he does not seem like the kinda person who would be happy to know in his absence the quality drops off tremendously. I tried my hardest to find them on BBB to explain my displeasure but could not find them. Went to Zoup with a couple friends. One of my friend’s heard from someone else who described it as having very tasty food. My friend summarized it as a better version of Panera Bread only with better selection. Right from the beginning, the staff was super polite and introduced the different things you could get in the menu as well as the bowl sizes. She even offered small taste samples of any soup of our selection. They come in small black containers and it was a great way of choosing which soup to select. Anyway, I got the chicken pot pie bread bowl. It was delicious. After finishing up my soup in the bread bowl, I was full with just eating half the bread bowl. I also had the classic mac which came with breadcrumbs. That was really tasty. It came in a large plastic container. There were a variety of fruity drinks. I had the classic lemonade.
