Very strange experience today regarding an online order for Baskin Robbins. My husband and I ordered for pickup through Door Dash. The order said it was ready, and when we arrived, it was not. There were no other costumers in the store, nor the drive through, and about 4-5 girls working. No one greeted us, and when we asked about our pickup order they seemed very confused and then one of them said “oh yea, we have none of the items that were ordered” and then walked away! I then asked what items were available that we ordered, and we were shown only 1. Understandable, but this is when it got strange… the employees then just stopped looking at us or talking to us. They did not say “but we have all these flavors, can we get you something else?” They also did not offer a refund, and not even an apology. It’s like they just wanted us to say “Oh okay, well keep the money, bye bye now” and for us to walk out the door. We stood there waiting to see what we were supposed to do and they offered no solution, or any words of any kind. They completely just didn’t speak to us at all. We finally asked them for new items, which was 5- 1 scoop cups. No lids, had to ask for lids. No spoons, asked for spoons. Just 5 cups, no bag… we ordered for pickup and nothing was even placed inside of a bag! The whole encounter was very bizarre. Not one person working was sociable enough to do anything with us as the costumers at all. When my husband and I got into our car, I burst out laughing from disbelief, and I asked him if I was rude or crazy, and he said NO! We were both wondering what on earth just had happened. The whole visit there seemed like the Twilight Zone. 2 stars for good...
Read moreOrdered a large Butter Pecan Crunch Frozen Coffee with extra pump of Butter Pecan. Dude hands me a medium frozen coffee. I said, “No, it’s supposed to be a large Butter Pecan Crunch Frozen Coffee with extra pump of Butter Pecan.” He said, “Oh.” Took back the drink and a minute later back out to gave me a medium Butter Pecan Crunch Frozen Coffee with no crunch crumbles on whipped cream. I said it’s supposed to be a large with the crunch crumbles and Carmel and chocolate drizzle on whipped the cream and gave him my receipt to show him what I got. By this time the dude was annoyed and took my receipt and the drink to the back. It made no sense to me why he took the receipt as he should of had an order ticket of how the drink was to be made. He then comes back a minute later and presents me with a large Butter Pecan Crunch Frozen Coffee. Only it wasn’t. It wasn’t anything like ordered. Even though it was in a large cup, the dude poured the medium drink he had been trying to give me into the large cup and filled it with whipped cream to give the impression of a large drink. By this time I had already been in the drive thru line enough, I accepted the dudes sorry excuse of a drink and drove off. If you can wait the extra 10-15 mins while traveling south on 23 go to the Dunkin Donuts by the Smoothie King. They are best Dunkin that I’ve been too. I hope this Dunkin’ gets better and their customer service gets...
Read moreUpon entering the store at 6am( they open at 5:30) we were not greeted or acknowledged by any staff members. We were the only customers in the store and there were three employees. As my son expressed his excitement about the sprinkled donuts, one of the employees moved the tray of those donuts to the window, seemingly without regard for our presence and making eye contact with my son, clearly hearing him talking about a sprinkled donut.
We patiently waited for approximately eight minutes, during which time no one attended to us at the register or the donut case, which was nearly empty due to the employee relocating the donuts while we were waiting at the register that was not marked as closed.
At 6:08 AM, I politely inquired if we had arrived before the store was open, and was informed that they were open and directed to a different register and the man walked away.
Feeling disappointed with the (lack of) service we received, we decided to go to Tim Hortons instead. There, we were quickly and warmly greeted by staff, who attended to us promptly, and the donut selection was abundant.
When I contacted customer service about this, they were unapologetic and gave me a coupon for a free donut. I don’t need a free donut, because it’s clear you won’t be served one unless you get it yourself. No comment on how they would address this with the owner or manager.
No wonder why their reviews are...
