EVOWOK — Restaurant in Delaware

Wow! I wish I didn’t live an hour away from this gem or I’d be eating here once or twice a week on the regular!

I found myself in Delaware for another reason and looked on my GF Near Me app and saw this place recommended for gf options.

They knock it out of the park in the gf arena. Before we even mentioned that we needed gluten-free options they actually asked us if we had dietary restrictions. When we said, yes, they walked us through in great detail everything we could have.

They have a breaded chicken option and it’s standard that it’s gluten-free so even people ordering it who are not gluten-free are eating gluten-free breaded chicken.

The care and attention given to dietary restrictions was unlike any other restaurant I’ve ever been to outside of Disney experiences! We didn’t feel rushed. We felt taken care of. And we felt confident in knowing what we were ordering.

Not only was this service a rare treat, the food was absolutely delicious. The next time I have to go to Delaware for something I’m definitely gonna make time to stop here again!!!

This is hands down the best Chinese/asian food you will get…probably anywhere! This is, essentially, the Chipotle of Chinese food. It is all made and prepared fresh and you can tell! The lo mein is in a class by itself and the steak is very tender and juicy. The ingredients are so fresh and the sauces are all homemade! The garlic sauce was incredible, with a little kick, which I preferred! The egg rolls were huge and were the best egg rolls I have ever had…and I am a bit of an egg roll connoisseur/snob. The Veggie egg roll included their fresh mushrooms and it put it a notch above for sure. The staff was wonderful and went above and beyond to assist me in my first time experience here. They let me try multiple sauces and the owner was there and wanted to make sure I got to try everything so that I knew what I liked. They have a sign for you to tell them if you have allergies to food so you can get your bowl safely made.

I enjoyed the atmosphere, was very nice and clean, there were only 3 workers but they were doing door dash orders and customers inside as well. I liked how they worked together and no one was frustrated with each other. I felt relaxed and very welcomed in there.

The food was great! I’m very happy by it. There are more options than BIBIBOP. The food was fresh and delicious. I have issues with eating many things together and I loved how carefully the bowl was put together and it felt like the food was made with pride and care.

The bathroom was so so clean. I was impressed by how there was no overflow of the trash can. Only complaint I had was I was confused by how the sink turned on. (May have been due to be being tired from work). I figured it out.
