My favorite brewery by far. We have been patrons since the first year they opened. Even been there for some of the anniversary pictures. Anytime there is a cask beer you must try it. If you are looking for an awesome environment to have a beer this is the place. Donald and Liz are fabulous people and everyone is friendly. Not sure where the people with bad reviews are coming from. Yes, the place is smaller, but the beers are fantastic, and plenty of choices. Not all super hopped and undrinkable. Bring your own food and enjoy the atmosphere. The small batch beers are ridiculously good. Enjoy beer with people who care about what they serve you

Do you like beer? Do you like great ales? If so, this is the place for you. On the menu: Beer Not on the menu: Things other than beer (Occasionally they have a good truck out back, and plenty of places deliver food.) Only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Places not to go for beer: elsewhere.

Cold inside but it just opened. Also loud { echo). Saison was ok but odd end note. The German molasses cookie and vanilla Porter were reminiscent of prune juice. Would try again, but nothing great.

We've been going here for years and it just keeps getting better. Cozy pub-style atmosphere with a thoughtfully curated craft beer selection. Some are seasonal and some are staples, but even my Budweiser-only father-in-law makes an exception for Staas. Patrons are a combination of locals and visitors - if it feels a little like Cheers, that's because it is.

Service is quick, knowledgeable, and great at making recommendations (beer, food, music, life...). If you don't like what you're drinking they'll help you find something to your taste so you can go back to chatting or people watching. The newer large patio, just outside the building, is a great open space to enjoy the weather and give your kids room to play. Parents are also mindful of other patrons and know when it's bedtime, leaving space for folks out for some child-free fun.

Great place to start or end your...

I had a great time at the opening of Staas Brewing Company last week and from the buzz I heard around town--I am not alone! Their knowledge of brewing and beer styles really shows as each beer is true to style and delicious. There is a beer for everyone's taste. I was with a friend who doesn't usually like beer and she could not stop raving about their Golden Delicious-Belgian Golden Strong ale. My favorite was the Blue Spruce Spring, which was clean, crisp, with a hint of spruce.

According to their Facebook page, their plan is to be open Thursdays-Fridays 4pm-mindnight and Saturdays 11am-midnight for the month of August while they continue to brew and develop their inventory--then increasing to 6 days a week...
