Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Delaware

I looked up what time they opened and it said five am. I walked down the street since it's such a short walk and notice their doors are locked. Curious I look up their phone number and call. As soon as they picked up the phone they hung up, so I called again and same thing. I decided to walk back and get into my car and drive through the drive through so I could even talk to somebody. The person at the window was very rude to begin with. I asked when they opened and he said five so I asked why the doors were locked. They said the parlor opened at six so I asked why when I called they just hung up on me. The man said because he heard no one talking even though he picked it up for a split second then hung up. If your restaurant opens at five and your parlor opens at a separate time it should be listed on the door. If I call the store to find out why I can't get in someone should at least answer and inform me the reason why. ESPECIALLY IF THERE ARE NO CARS GOING THROUGH THE DRIVE THROUGH. This means you are literally dead and ignoring my phone call. Terrible customer service, and it's also on the owners for not posting separate parlor times on the website or the door. I would like to at least have someone inform me of the parlor not being currently open instead of me standing there like a dumb ass and when I pull through the drive through I would like to be treated like a human being. Awful experience and terrible...

I haven't been to Tim's in a while but this one is one of them best places I can go. I love to go here, hang out, and talk with everyone l, and I love seeing everyone and their faces and families. No one is sad at Tim's. Everyone is constantly l, daily, by the second, filled with so much over powering Joy and childish whimsy at Mr. Hortons, so over powering you can feel it when you walk through the door... It is the place you need to go when you need a nice little snack, for example, the time bites. Yes, they are small, but their size doesn't describe the taste of delicious Deli Brown Donut. A multiple, multitude of flavors, and sometimes there is even some limited flavors, it's always going to be so good you want to come back for more, every day, for every meal. If you don't believe me, check my last receipt! Haha. Just kidding, don't do that... I just love me some good T.M. (nope- not like from pokemon- it's stands for "Tim Hortens") on a day, it's from a Canada, and the best time to have it is in the fall, when the sunrise is rising above that big...

A little after 3pm on 9/15/23 I came into the store and could tell they were understaffed. There seemed to be only 2 people working both the drive thru and cafe. Despite this, I was greeted in a timely manner. My interactions with both emoloyees working were genuine and kind, despite the fact that I could tell they were each doing the work of 2 people. I overheard the opening manager (?) filling the closing manager (?) in on how the day had gone, and happened to hear that they had been incredibly short staffed all day. Despite all of this, she was keeping things running quickly, smoothly, and with kind and genuine service. As someone with food service management experience, I just wanted to commend the employees at this location. I know a review doesn't do much, but I hope the employees who were working see this and know their hard work did not...
