A group of us girlfriends went for lunch today and this was the first time any of us had been there. We all kept passing the restaurant because there was no signage up on the building, just a little sign above the door that none of us noticed. Once we got in and sat down though, we had a very nice waitress named Brandy R.. She seemed a little confused and overwhelmed at times (which I think maybe was from us asking for too much from too many people at one time). But she was right on anything that maybe she forgot. She was welcoming, friendly, and thanked us for our business. She did however significantly overcharge me for my meal (which I didn't realize till I got home and was leaving this review) . The bourbon gyro price on the menu is $14.99 (and that comes with a side of fries). I asked her if I could change the fries out for rice and she told me that there was an upcharge. I thought that was odd as both the fries and the rice are $3.99 listed on the menu, but that's okay if they upcharge it. However when I got my receipt out at home, I can see that she charged me the full price for the bourbon gyro (including the fries) and then charged me the full price for the rice on top of that. So $14.99 + $3.99 for a side of rice equals $18.98. This is what she charged me. So if she's going to charge me full price for the side of rice, she should have given me the fries as well. This is not subbing out the price by adding a buck or two. I'm not a fry eater, so if I go back again and do rice I will have to pay better attention to this. I wish I would have caught it when I was there. I'll hold on to the receipt, and we'll see if the restaurant credits it when I go back?? The food came out way quicker than we thought it would ! All of us got gyros, except for one person who got a burger. We all liked our food and even ordered additional meals to take home, we liked them so much. The bourbon gyro was amazing! Extremely messy, but...

Read moreI was hesitant to try Opa because I thought it was mainly a whiskey bar and had my thoughts on taking kids there. With a recommendation from so many friends with kids I went in on first Friday for first time. Yes it was crazy of me to think we could get in with line. We were met by Brandi and she explained it really would not be too long. We decided to stay and our wait was only 10 min due to most people getting things from bar and stepping outside to patio. We were greeted friendly and quickly sat. Reading menu I was nervous but decided the Chicken Argos let me say omg! Husband got a pasta wasn’t sure what he got mine was so delicious I didn’t mind his food lol. Our food came out quickly surprisingly since they were so busy. Our server was Brandi and she was amazing. Our drinks were never empty and she was so upbeat and positive and really knowledgeable of the whiskeys they had. Although we didn’t drink whiskey my husband was curious on them. I strongly recommend if you haven’t tried Opa or are hesitant like I was to just do it! I order the same thing every time 😂 and it never disappoints. Even our kids enjoyed going with us! We go to Opa for date night from now on! I’ve never had a bad experience there and the service from time you walk into door til you leave is great and help make the atmosphere so great! Can’t wait to see the...
