This place is pretty beat. I've stopped here 3 times in the last 2 weeks and every time has been underwhelming. The first time I was ever here I ordered a Buffalo chicken salad and I specifically told their regular bar tender that I couldn't handle too spicy food due to a food allergy. He insisted that their mild flavor was entirely not spicy. However, when it arrived it appears to be smothered in hot Buffalo wing sauce like it was a salad dressing. When I told the bar tender that I couldn't eat it after a single bite he offered to send it back but then took it and dumped it in the trash and still charged me for it. Every time that I've been there in the last 2 weeks it's been a ghost-town. I literally have walked into an empty taproom 2/3 times. The place closes at 10:00pm to accommodate the elderly clientele, and tonight was my weirdest experience yet. The owner was tending bar and proceeded to serve me a tall budweiser with ice cubes in it... I did not ask for ice in my beer, thank you. There was karaoke set up but no one to sing. The karaoke company operator kept asking me if I wanted to sing and when I told him I wasn't interested and that I was feeling down he took it as an opportunity to preach his evangelical Christian sermon to me. When I informed the karaoke dude of my difference of belief the owner chimed in and started preaching to me as well about the salvation that awaited me whenever I choose to believe in Christ. The karaoke dude then showed me a picture on his phone of a light shining onto a wall of his home and claimed it to be proof of angels, and then went into great detail about having paid "ghost-hunters" to investigate the light for him and revealed that they found 3 ghosts in his home! At this time I paid out my tab and left. Ad I walked out the door the owner said to the karaoke dude, "That's why nobody talks to him." I wasn't looking for an argument but maybe some of the things that I have experienced here are why the place is empty Mr Icey-beer-man.
Tl;Dr: bad service, overpriced food, no atmosphere, preachy opinionated owner, watered down beer... Just avoid it. There's plenty of way better places in our...
Read moreI usually come for karaoke Thursdays and have been for about 2 years. The bartender is a good dude, drinks are reasonably priced but definitely don’t come here hungry! The food used to be really good! Over the past few months, the food menu has absolutely gone to s#!t. They used to have a really good black bean burger but then randomly got rid of all the vegetarian options (although they are still listed on the menu because they haven’t bothered to update it) and the stuff that is still available just isn’t good anymore. As a vegetarian, I’m now pretty much limited to appetizers. I don’t know what happened but these days, the fries, tots, whatever…have no flavor at all…tortilla chips are stale…anything you get is just a deep fried vehicle for ketchup or sauce. Can’t stress enough that the current food is trash. And I’ve given it plenty of chances…I’m currently staring at a quesadilla and tots that I shared with my boyfriend. Ate 1/4 of the quesadilla and had to drown it in salsa and guacamole, and a couple of tots and it was just bad. I’m sorry. Not sure why things changed but would truly love to see it improve or go back to how it used to be. I will continue to come here, but probably done...
Read moreThis is an alright place... The boneless wings were the best.... Soft tender and juicy.... The honey bbq sauce is delicious... The asian sauce was ok... The honey mustard sauce I wouldn't recommend... It tasted like pure mustard... I didnt finish them ate one... I didnt like the sauce at all... The fries. Were bacon and cheese fries... All the bacon was burnt... But I would recommend the fries.. they were nice seasoned fries... I would order them again with nothing on it.... The burger I ordered was supposed to be just a American double burger.. I was given a south western single burger... It was ok.. the burger I believe is frozen out the box.. it was a little hard and chewy... Almost tasted like an impossible burger (meatless).... The traditional wings arent seasoned which was ok.. because the sauce overtakes it.. you can't n really tell... But overall I would go back to this spot .... They were ok... ima try some...
