I have never in my life been so insulted by a store manager of a Taco Bell I want to preface this review by stating that. It is 8:20 p.m. and I was just in the Drive-Thru simply trying to get dinner on my way home from work. Normally everybody is friendly and wonderful I don't know what the managers problem was tonight but the way she spoke to me was completely out of line. When I was in your store the last time couple of weeks ago there was a mistake with my order half of my order was forgotten not even put in the bag and the other part that was put in the bag was made wrong so I had to drive all the way back from my house which took 25 minutes to bring my son's food back because it was made wrong he's a vegetarian and they putting meat on it instead of beans and to get my food because they forgot my Dorito Supreme Taco with State because of the inconvenience the manager at that time gave me two coupons for any Taco of my choice because of the mess up... The coupon literally says it's not you it's us come back for any Taco of your choice that tells me I can get the same Taco I've always ordered because once again I only eat the Doritos Loco Taco with steak with sour that's how I eat my taco those are the tacos I usually pay for so she gave me two free coupons for the inconvenience of having to drive back to the store to get my order made properly she also gave me my money back for the nacho fry nachos that they made for my done improperly... I don't buy cheap food when I come to Taco Bell I buy good food when I come to Taco Bell I don't spend 5 $10 when I come to Taco Bell I spend everywhere between 20 and $30 when I come to Taco Bell so that is why she accommodated me because I am a good customer and I spend a lot of money because my kids are finicky and I have to have everything made with steak and Orbeez because they don't eat the taco meat and neither do I especially my son who only eats your beat and that's why this is normally our favorite Taco Bell because they usually make his nachos or tacos perfectly with no meat... This manager tonight said she doesn't know where I got those coupons from and even though it doesn't say it on the coupon it just means I can have a free hard taco... The coupon says any Taco of my choice and I wouldn't eat a dollar hard taco with nothing on it as she's implying the coupon needs I read the coupon very carefully know where does it say I can't have steak know where does it say I can't have sour cream and no where does it say I have to pay for anything... I was also going to spend another $20 outside of my two free tacos but I left with nothing and now I'm going Arby's to spend my money. If you check my Google history you will see I don't leave bad reviews I'm not one of those people that has nothing better to do than to criticize people having a bad day at work as my customers are always able to go on to Google and leave reviews about my level of customer service... The fact that I'm doing this right now is a very big deal. I am very upset that I have to drive another 20 minutes to go to the good Arby's because the one next to you is not a good Arby's you and made my life hard tonight when I was literally using your drive through to make my night go easier as I'm on my way home from work
UPDATE:
Pierre is an absolute godsend...as always there was an issue with my taco lol i don't get it but I'm used to it at this point. But Pierre was not just an accommodating manager he made me feel better and I can see the difference in the crew compared to last time. I'm so glad I gave y'all another chance. Changed...
Read moreTaco Bell was one of the staples of my college days. It was a place to grab a cheap eat when I ventured downtown. Fast forward two decades and the fast food chain has grown up a bit. Instead of whitewash and formica, the dining area decor has been updated in comfortable earth tones. Unfortunately, two decades of inflation has not been kind to their offerings. Prices have gone up and the fast food chain is now skimping on toppings and portion sizes. The Nachos Bell Grande I ordered is but a shell of its former self. On the plus side, Taco Bell now has more drink choices and more condiments. So innovation continues.
As far as this particular Taco Bell location goes, the employees are courteous. The dining area is comfortable and nicely air-conditioned for a hot summer day, but felt a bit small and cramped. The parking lot too is a bit tight and congested during the lunch rush, and hard to get in and out of because this Taco Bell is located in an island in the middle of Concord Pike. It's a design decision that may have made sense back in the day but is rather questionable now that the road is a busy 3-lane highway.
So overall, it's a mixed bag of an experience. I don't think I'd be a regular customer here but it's an option for when I'm tired of the other choices...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I had at a taco bell. Today I ordered a deal combo for $5 which includes a burrito supreme, one taco and one gordita and also some nachos and a drink. Being a vegetarian,I asked them to make everything with BEAN and No-meat. Cashier was "sahid" and I saw in the bill that everything has "replace Bf with Bn" written in the order. So as it was clearly written in the order, I started having my meal without confirming about meat with the person who prepared the dishes. And after eating 3-4 bites of burrito supreme, I realized that it has beef in it. For a vegetarian, eating beef is the worst thing but it was their response to this issue which made me hate this place. But when I asked waiters about this, they showed no interest in talking to me about the matter and no sincere apology. Girls inside the cooking area were joking with each other and no one was trying to convince me that this was a mistake. There was another lady(manager?) who came to me and simply said that they can replace the burrito with another veg one and when I said it's not about the replacement, it's about my faith, to my surprise she said she has to go out. Apparently, for her, smoking was more important than a customer complaining about...
