My family and I were given Free Combo Meal card coupons while on vacation in Cape Coral, Florida this past December because of a horrible experience. The manager, M. McCurdy personally sent them to us back here in Delaware, by mail. We decided to give them another try at the Rehoboth store. We stood in line for what seemed like 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged. I presented the cards to the cashier, she took a minute to read them and said she would have to ask her manager. She then took several more minutes to prepare the orders for the 3 other people in front of us. Then she came back and asked what we wanted again, I told her I was the one with the coupons. She said "Oh Yeah Ok" and walked off to speak to the manager, whom I could see and hear the entire time. The manager said rather loudly and rudely "Uh uh no, I ain't taking these, I don't know who that is or if they're real." The cashier then cam back and said "The manager said no and they have to be used in the same store you got them from." I simply gatherd my hungry family and we left. The manager never even bothered to come talk to me face to face. She didn't even bother to take the phone away from her face the entire time she "yelled talked" to the cashier! I'm sure the manager in Florida would have let me know if they were only good in that store or state! I should have trusted my bad feelings about this store. I will NOT be coming back, and based on the vast majority of negative reviews I am astounded this store even bothered to get a "visual make-over." Posted on Facebook — received a reply asking for more time until 7/15, but no follow-up. Replied to the email from the Facebook team — ignored. Called again — was told a supervisor would get back to me. Still waiting. Mistakes happen, but what’s truly unacceptable is the complete lack of concern or follow-up. No one from Wendy’s has even asked if I got sick — which I did. I suffered from food poisoning, missed work, couldn’t attend a graduation, and haven’t been able to eat chicken since. This could have been life-threatening for someone with a compromised immune system.

I can promise you that your food will be cold and very messy and you will be disrespected and disappointed. I just ordered at this location tonight and the fires boxes were half full, the sandwiches were messy and whomever made them didn’t even take the time to wrap them. On top of all that the roll was hard and the burgers were dry and over cooked. Never again will I order anything from this location. Paid 33$ for meals that all ended up in the trash. The employees at this location must really hate their job. They are not very nice at all and when the person in front of us was ordering they didn’t have 3 of the items she was ordering.
