El Burrito Mexicano — Restaurant in Delhi Charter Township

Was so excited to visit this restaurant at their new location. The wait for it to open was long and much anticipated. Finally made it this morning. The food was decent but the set up is horrible. You have to wait in line to order, and then wait in line to pay after. They are short staffed. There were nothing but dirty tables when we walked in. I should have taken pictures. Might be a good idea to have people actually give you a name for their order so you can call it out, instead of walking around holding food for somebody else, wandering around trying to figure out who the food is for. Giving food to the wrong tables. The staff is friendly, but overwhelmed. We had to ask for silverware and our drinks after our food was already placed at our table. Would be a good idea to maybe have an area to put dirty dishes since they're left on the table from the previous customers. Who knows if these tables are cleaned regularly or not, hard to say. Sadly disappointed as I really enjoyed the dining experience when it was in the Lansing location. I think that the owner has bitten off more than she can chew by having an actual sit-in restaurant here in Holt. Might want to revisit the thought of what this business should be. Maybe take out only? Since you can't accommodate people that actually want to sit in and eat because you have dirty tables, with dishes piled up from the previous customers and you don't have enough staff to actually wait on the customers. Also very upset that they are not serving breakfast. And with the setup it was hard for families to even set together. So...

These people are the kindest, most beautiful people we have come across in all our travels. We did not order or visit the restaraunt... they saw our rv broke down and stranded in a parking lot accross from their business and 2 of them came out and asked if we were OK. They brought us 6 plates of food for free. So gracious and amazing. What a blessing as we were starving! I am so thankful for this business and I ask that if you are going to order food somewhere. Please give back to these kind people. By the way. The food was delicious! Thank you folks so much... and...

Expected much more after seeing all the 5-star reviews. Food was bland. Service? Told to take a menu and come back to counter to order. Nachos and fajitas arrived with no amenities....no sour cream or guac, no salsa. Sign posted on counter says $2 for 4oz salsa due to "high cost of onions and tomatoes." Fajita steak was as tough as shoe leather. The place was very clean, though, and the staff were friendly. We decided to come here rather than Tres Amigos to try this local restaurant everygody was raving about.....very disappointed. ...
