We bought an antique clock and took it here to see if it could be repaired. The owner told us that he would try and if he couldn't fix it he would not charge us. He did get it running but that's it. He had it for several months with no phone calls at all to tell us of the progress. We finally called him and we went to get it. We had to take it back twice because it would just stop running. It does not work. He said it kept good time in his shop the whole time it was there. However, the last time we picked it up it was around noon and the clock read a bit after 5. And he told us it kept good time. I realize it is very old. But it doesn't work like he said it does and we feel we should get some of our money back. He did not fix it. We do agree that he should keep something for his time but we should get some kind of refund. We will never take things here again for any reason. Sorry but he didn't fix it. I was only charged ten dollars which other stores that are locally owned and bigger jewlery businesses quoted me around 50-60 dollars over the phone without even seeing it.
