Worst experience ever! Thanks a lot for ruining our Mother’s Day dinner! A few nights ago, we ordered (they always mess up our order) and we asked the delivery driver if they remembered the garlic cream cheese, he said they did... mind you, that stuff is the only reason I even bother ordering there anymore. Of course, it wasn’t there. We called back and asked if they could get him to come back. The manager told us no, but that they could send one out when he got back, at which time, I expressed that it’s frustrating because by then, the food won’t be fresh. So he said he’d send a new cheese bread with it... delivery driver comes an hour later with cream cheese and no new bread... we called again (now it’s 11:15pm) and the manager was apologetic and kind, offered to put a credit on our account for a cheesebread and cream cheese and then also said he’d add a $15 credit. We accepted... for Mother’s Day, we called to cash in along with a large order besides that! The assistant manager told us he didn’t see that on our account and refused to listen to us. First, he kept cutting off my husband, then when I took the phone I explained that I’m confident that’s what was said because that bread is my 7 month pregnancy craving! I was kind and nearly crying (thanks hormones) and he wouldn’t let me complete a single sentence and then he hung up on me... we tried several times to call back and he wouldn’t take our call... We called on another number and calmly ask for a manager and they promptly hung up on us. Terrible customer service... absolute jerk has ruined this for us once...

Unfortunately this is just about the worst customer service experience I've had. We ordered 1 Medium-sized BBQ specialty pizza for curbside at around 7:10pm, we drove there following the estimated time according to their app. We waited about 40min outside before someone with the wrong pizza came up to the window... not angry they seem busy its a pandemic. But that was the last person I saw until 9:12pm when I called - again. I wouldn't be upset if the 1 pizza was warm; even lukewarm but it was cold af... this is not the worst of it though. At the time of our arrival I pulled up next to a silver prius. They had been there atleast 30min prior to our arrival, we got our pizza over 2 hrs after ordering it cold. BEFORE THAT GUY IN THE PRIUS! I try to stay quiet, and be as well composed as possible. I've worked in fast food. I know what low staff, falling behind, messing up feels like. But as my 2 yrs in customer service as a manager, I would've been fired for taking over 2hrs to serve 1 medium...
Read moreOrdered online and I don't know what your experience has been, but it seems like the estimated time of pick, usually isn't real accurate. Not the case with Cottage Inn in Holt! My pizza and breadsticks were piping hot, fresh! And man, the crew inside were busting their butts! It was Friday night around 9pm and orders were just pouring in. When I picked up my order, the card reader was giving the cashier a little trouble but he kept his cool and helped the customer in front of me with a smile the whole time. 😀 You could see the teamwork going on in the back and that everyone was doing their part to pull together and keep the pizzas flying out of the oven. I was just overwhelming impressed with the quality of my pizza and the customer service I received. I eat out more than I care to admit, and these last few years, it is hard to find a place where the employees don't hate their jobs and let it show. So, if the owner/manager of this Cottage Inn is reading this, please! Take care of your employees!
