Las Palmas Cafe — Restaurant in Delran Township

I was excited when I heard a Spanish restaurant was coming near my home. However, once I started visiting the place, the food is good, service is awesome however, what I DONT LIKE is that every time I go to purchase something the price is different. I have purchased spaghetti from this place. Today is my third time, the first time it was five dollars, the second time it was seven dollars and today it was $10 for a small spaghetti.!! No no no!! Now if this was a large, maybe, however, I do not like that they come up with the price as they GO! in my opinion this is NOT ok. You guys got me three times I will not be returning for a fourth time. I would rather go drive to Latin America on Federal Street in Camden before I go to this place that is literally 10 minutes from my house. At Latin America I would’ve got this spaghetti for like six dollars and a big one. The food is good here, but I don’t like paying different prices for the same thing and even a smaller portion. You guys will not see me again, I will not visit you. You got me a couple of times it won’t be another time. I really would rather drive to Latin America in Camden then come here. I ordered flautas through DoorDash and included special instructions, but they were not followed. I tried calling the restaurant, but the line was busy, and then it seemed like they turned the phone off, so I couldn’t get through. I decided to go to the store in person, but when I arrived, the staff was argumentative. The owner came out with a terrible attitude and insisted everything was done correctly, which was not the case. Extremely disappointing experience. The manager was more worried about proving to me that he was right (when he was in fact wrong) than trying to find a solution. As a business owner, finding a solution should always be the end goal, and it wasn’t. I went back to grab the food and the worker claimed it was already in the trash. A customer yelled from the back of the line stating it was on the back counter & then the mgr came to hand it to me. Both experiences I’ve had with them were very unpleasant. I ordered through UberEats after checking reviews both in that platform and here on Google Maps and when I saw the photos on here I was really hoping what I got delivered would hold up and it did!!! Everything was fresh and tasty. The alcapurria was super fresh, I liked the taste of the masa and it had a good amount of carne molida in it. The pernil was so good too and I love how much cuero they give with it and how tender and meaty the pernil was. The mofongo was not dry which is sadly so common and easy to have happen especially with delivery, I love that they had a little sauce for it on the side. The salad was fresh and crisp as well and loved the dressing they make for it. The arroz con gandules was so fluffy and simple in flavor, in a good way, you could taste the gandules.
