They create a reduction in the available houses in neighborhoods, denying the people the opportunity to own a home. Also: These mailers prey on people that may be struggling currently to pay living in their homes, and when they collectively buy all the houses around them, increasing the prices on those houses they buy, they are intentionally squeezing out the people they are exploiting who they send these mailers to. The process was quick but some things did not happen as promised. I was told I would be provided time even after the sale to get all my belongings(not true) So many things I wanted had to be signed over as abandoned in order for the deal to be completed. During the process, on a Sunday afternoon, 3 men just showed up at my door to walk through my house. I had no notice or idea of who they were or how they got my address. I turned them away and they hovered outside my home and came back to my door a second time. This was very scary for a single woman.
