Firehouse Subs Denham Bass Pro — Restaurant in Denham Springs

I would have given this one star, but the food is actually pretty good. It's just the service is TERRIBLE! Definitely one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had!!! I went there tonight with my daughter, and she even said she doesn't ever want to go back there again because of the way we were treated. We walked in and stood in front of the menu board trying to decide what to order. There were about 8 employees standing behind the counter doing nothing but literally staring at us. The manager walked up and asked if we were ready to order, and I had just decided what to get so I said yes and waited for my daughter to let me know she was ready. Then, all of the employees started laughing at us, and the manager said in a very condescending tone as if making fun of us, "Well, you order OVER THERE....where it says ORDER HERE, ok?" So, I walked a couple of feet to my right and stood directly under the ORDER HERE sign, and then that same manager walked over and asked for our order. She then laughed and said, "I didn't mean anything by that - sorry". All 8 employees behind the counter again started cracking up laughing as if they were high on drugs and we were just the funniest sight ever, and the manager just kinda laughed and said, "they just want to get off early tonight". When my daughter was ordering a sandwich, she asked the manager how the sandwich was dressed, and the manager said, again in a very condescending voice as if she was talking to the two dumbest people on the planet, "how about we just start with medium or large and then we'll get to that". My daughter made it very clear what she wanted on her sandwich (just chicken, cheese, lettuce, and honey mustard - not rocket science here), and it actually showed up correctly on the receipt, but when we got home and she tastes it, it had horse radish on it!! I tasted it and it was bad. I'm thinking this was done on purpose because when we were leaving, one of the guys said, "have a good night.....well, a hot night," and started laughing. This was the same guy who spoke to us while we were waiting on our food and taunted us saying we were scared of them and didn't we want hot sauce...look at all the hot sauces, etc. I'm just wondering if they all go in the back and get high together and then come out and make fun of customers.. Worst restaurant I've ever been to. I've never tried them but I heard their chili is good, I called to make the order to pick up. I told them everything I wanted and asked how much it would be. She told me it would be 8.64. So my mom dropped me off to pick up, the girl in there told me it would be 9.72. I said "I asked you before I came in and you said it would be 8.64 so I brought only $9 in". I was about to run out to get more money but the manager I guess whoever she is came and took the extra money off and said "well next time she'll know" with an attitude. The only reason I’m giving one star is so I can give a review. On Sunday Sep 24 @ 6pm at this specific location I ordered Hot Smoke BBQ sandwich and also I ordered a Turkey Bacon ranch sandwich. There was NO Barbecue Sauce and the sandwich was Cold on my Supposedly HOT Smoke Barbecue brisket sub. And on my Turkey Bacon Ranch sun the Bacon was RAW!!!
