Sushi Ninja-Denham Springs — Restaurant in Denham Springs

My husband and I ventured to Sushi Ninja last night to experience what others have been raving about. We were immediately sat at the spacious bar-top so we could watch the game. They have a large flat screen that made it easy to view from any distance. The restaurant is beautifully, yet simply decorated. Although it is new, the staff worked hard to ensure quick food service, communication and attentiveness. The bartender Katie was on her second shift; yet made us feel so welcome and at ease. She was sincere if she did not know the menu, but promptly got any questions answered. The shrimp fried rice was AMAZING. Sushi was fresh and plated wonderfully. I also enjoyed the wonderful Tokyo Rose cocktail...yum!! Katie let us know she was learning the specialty house cocktails...she could have fooled me lol So delicious and refreshing. I came twice since they just open. First visit with my friends, food was phenomenal, until we heard the owner or manager cussing out their staff loudly in front of everyone. Me and another table look around, that was very uncomfortable. I came back yesterday with my husband to try the all you can eat, we didn’t understand the rules and asked, but the server talked to us with an attitude like we are dumb. We were ready to leave and pay for our drinks until the manager came, she was very sweet and explain everything clearly, so we decided to stay. Again, food was so really good. If the staff can’t explain the rules properly don't treat customers like it’s their fault for not...

So Delicious!!!! I chose to do the all you can sushi and hibachi lunch. I had nigiri- salmon, white tuna, and smoked salmon (just one piece each). The raw salmon was buttery and delicious. I tried the habatchi fried rice with chicken and seaweed salad and snow crab salad. It was all so delicious. I haven’t had seaweed salad before. It was different, but it was good. They have a little “salad” bar and they have fruit and all the sauces and wasabi and kimchi and seaweed salad and a few other things. It a good place to it’s really nice inside. Clean and the music wasn’t loud. It was a nice environment! I will definitely go back. I’ll probably try the ramen hot...
