The food here is really good. Crawfish was seasoned to perfection! Unfortunately, the service is extremely lacking. Upon entering, it was well over 5 minutes before we were greeted by a hostess or a anyone else for that matter. All the while, the young lady who worked the to go stand scrolls on her phone. She would occasionally answer the business phone promoting her to walk over to the hostess stand but failed to acknowledge the guests. I do not feel she was intentionally being rude just extremely unaware and lacking in knowledge of what true hospitality is. There were 2 parties in front of me, and 3-4 other parties that entered after me causing over crowding in the main entrance before we all started to be seated. Couple actually walked out. I went to the bar to grab a drink while the rest of my party arrived. The guy behind the bar was starting to get a little weeded and when his relief came in, she came in very casually with no sense of urgency. But eventually, they got it done! We had a reservation for a party of 9 for Sunday lunch. We ordered appetizers in which side plates were not provided before or during the time the food was dropped off. We had to request it from the food runner, not our server, who was basically just an order taker. At least he got thay right, kind of. Our table was never cleared at anytime, not even a fork. We ate our entrees over dirty appetizer plates and side plates. Even when food was brought to us, no kne event attempted to take dirty dishes back with them to the kitchen. I come across this issue everything I visit. At least the food is good and comes out fairly quick and always fresh! It was hard to order second rounds of cocktails as our server did a very poor job and table checking. It was pretty non-existent which put us in a position to where we have to give him orders as opposed to him actively accommodating our needs. We were halfway through our meal and one person out of our party still hadn't received his chicken and waffles and our server was oblivious to this fact. We received our checks after we had to recall our orders to our waiter when he should have been more organized. Had he been more in tune with us, he would have had an easier time remembering. We signed our checks over every dirty dish and napkin accumulated in our 2 hour visit. Also, we had crawfish with no bucket or dish to dispose of the shells, and no one offered. The bussers, I'm sure, have a hard time maintainng with the lack of table maintenance. If you have hands, they shouldnt be empty. Due to our party size, 18% gratuity was added which was expected. If you are going to auto-grat, you've got to still put in the work! That service was simply not worthy. But, I'm not mad about it! I really hope that you guys can pull your service together because the...
Read moreWife and I had been wanting to try this place out based solely on the fact that the parking lot always looks packed and there always seems to be people waiting outside to get in. Our daughter, son-in-law and grandson were coming over so we decided to visit so we decided to finally give it a try. The wait was long. Maybe 30 minutes but we were expecting that. We were seated at a small table by a front window. The table was way too small for 4 adults which was exacerbated by the fact that I'm 6,2 and my son-in-law is 6,4. I get Corona and all that so maybe they were forced to use smaller chairs. Would have liked for them to have had curtains or blinds on the windows because people waiting outside are sitting just outside the window so they sometimes were watching us from outside which was kind of weird. The service was decent. Young lady did a decent job of keeping up with our needs. The portions we all thought were large. I got pork chops with a loaded baked potato, wife got a big chicken salad. The food looked great. We both thought the food was rather bland however. Pork chops were dry and didn't have a lot of flavor. Kids didn't think too much of their food either. We all thought the menu was not very exciting. Appetizers on the menu were very limited and uninspiring. So much so that none of us cared to order appetizers. A first for us. Such a shame for all our expectations. Of course the small table got even smaller when our food came out. Looking at the people watching us from outside made me notice how dirty the windows were. Looked like they were wiped with a dirty towel. My biggest complaint though is the noise in that place. It is just loud in there. I liken it to the volume of a bar. We had to speak very loudly just to hear each other. Very disappointed because I really wanted to like this place. We agreed we didn't need to...
Read moreI was pretty disappointed with the quality of the food, especially considering the price. The Frychos looked and tasted like cheese fries you’d get at a child’s club baseball game from the concession stand. The burgers were okay, but nothing special. And the Mac and cheese had almost no cheese in it, very dry. It was like high school cafeteria Mac and cheese, but not as good. And I wasn’t going to even write a review until I got my check and was charged more for almost everything I got. I looked at the menu on their website, and I was right. Both of our burgers were charged $3 more than listed. I brought it up to the waitress, and she said that their prices had gone up a few dollars and that the online menu had not updated. Well, it was listed as less on our physical menus we were given, which I told her and she apologized and said they must’ve been an old menu, but didn’t offer to honor the price. But she was taking a little while with my card so I thought maybe she was talking to her manager. Which she was, but instead of honoring the menu prices, we were offered a free bread pudding, which neither me or my boyfriend, who was with me, don’t like, plus we already weren’t happy with the food. So, I know 6 bucks isn’t that big of a difference and mistakes do happen, but coming from someone who’s been in the customer service industry for as long as I have, the restaurant should’ve honored the prices on the menu they gave us because $6 may not be a lot for me, but for some people it is. I also own a small business, and quality and customer service is my #1 priority. If I mess up, I fix it. It may just be my pride talking, but losing a few dollars is never worth an unhappy customer. Very disappointed and will not...
