IHOP — Restaurant in Denison

My boyfriend and I had our anniversary dinner there not because he's cheap we just wanted to stay in so we ordered take out we get there and I have to wait an additional 45 min to get our food which was just suppose to be pick up , well it was a disappointment to find the breakfasts that we were so craving were not up to par , the hash browns were soggy and my eggs were rotten the sausage wasn't event cooked all the way so I go back in and tell them they replaced it but it wasn't any better it was the same the only thing that we could eat was pancakes 🥞 so the next day I spoke with a lady named Irene and told her about my experience she was happy to replace our meals and she did wonderfully lady , but we ordered at the same time that we did the last we got the same cook and ordered a Philly cheese sandwich and chicken strips we thought can't go wrong there. .... To our dismay they did the mayo we got was bag and I had already put it on my sandwich and he had no gravy and they were over cooked and the lady that worked that night thought it was a good idea to put drinks in a bag ? Any how I can NEVER EVER EAT aggs or go to IHOP ever again the only thing there that was good was a manager named IRENE...

We we’re immediately seated, so kudos to them. The wait for our food took awhile, there was 6 customers in the establishment total. The bacon was undercooked, the pancakes were rubbery. They had forgotten my hash browns at first, and when I had finally gotten them they were soggy and looked like they had been rushed. Then their friend came in to see them, and he then went behind the counter and into the kitchen, he wasn’t in work attire just a plain tee and basketball shorts with a hat. They then started making themselves food and completely ignored us, we waited over 25 minutes to get a check. Right when we were about to walk out he had finally noticed us. The establishment was a mess and water was leaking from the ceiling, another customer who was sitting a little away from us had received cold coffee. The waiter knew he had served the man cold coffee, he apologized and gave him fresh coffee, but his coffee shouldn’t have been cold in the first place. I work in a restaurant and I know the standards for the workplace, and this was no way up to standard. Save yourself time and go somewhere else because this IHOP...

We've been going here for years and have never had an experience like this one. When we got there, there was only one other table sat, and the people were coughing...like a lot. They sat us one table away from them. Gross. We waited almost an hour for our food. Listening to a group of people dislodge massive amounts of phlem right next to us. My husband and my son sat with empty drinks in front of them for 15 or 20 min, my iced tea had 2 ice cubes when it got to the table, and was warm by the time our food came out. It's 111 degrees outside, guys! We had to ask for our pancakes that were supposed to come with our meals. The server told us they were already ready, but it was quite a while before we got them. The food was mostly fine, but my son's burger was dry and the bread seemed stale. Our server was nice enough, the 3 times we interacted with her in an hour and a half. Maybe she needed more training...? Or just a tiny little bit of GAF? The whole experience sucked, honestly. I could think of a million better ways to spend our money. I doubt we'll...
