If I could give this place zero stars I would. This is long- but well worth the read to save you a headache. We decided to try this place out for breakfast since it is close to where we are staying this year and the hotel provides meal coupons for half off your second ordered breakfast. We arrived a little after 10am, the place was not busy and we were told to sit wherever. we selected a seat towards the back as we had our two year old and 8 month old with us. Our waitress came over to ask if we wanted coffee, but made no attempt to offer a highchair for either of our kids, when I asked, she looked at me confused as to why I would need one. Strike one. We looked over the menu, (no kids menu, not a kid friendly place at all) placed our order and then waited at least 30 mins for pancakes, bacon and eggs. During our wait, our waitress didn't come over to offer more coffee, water, tea or anything. (we actually werent even given water) Strike two The food arrives, I ask for all of the things we need (coffee, forks, napkins, a plate for our toddler) and again am greeted with the same confused face from our waitress. She drops off our items and disappears. I go to give my toddler a piece of bacon and low and behold there is HAIR on the slice of bacon. STRIKE THREE I sit there holding the piece of bacon for almost 10 mins with no sign of my waitress anywhere and no one else even noticing that there is a problem at our table. I finally GET UP to go and look for her and ask one of the other waitresses if they can find her.( this waitress didnt ask if everything was ok or if we needed anything) almost 15 mins later she comes back WITH THE CHECK and leaves it on the table! At this point i am annoyed and disgusted. I tell her our food has a hair and it needs to go back, I ask to speak with a manager, they send over another waitress who says they can remake it, asking if that will make me happy, trying to explain there is only one cook. Ok no that won't make me happy, I understand if there is only one cook, but that doesnt explain the service, lack of attentiveness or HAIR in my food. She brushed me off and said ok we can take it off the bill- Well no duh, i didnt eat it, so of course its coming off the bill, but zero attempt was made to please the customer. This place isnt worth the 4 dollars you will save with the coupon-keep your mediocre food, terrible service and even worse customer service. I will take my family and money elsewhere, like Red Cottage Inn, who has amazing food and wonderful,...
Read moreI wish that I had seen the many other reviews describing the older waitress with the bad attitude before I ate at the seven seas; but my boyfriend and I were excited to try a breakfast place we haven’t been to. When first walking in, I had asked if there is a table for two outside, which I was met with a bad attitude of “obviously, you can see them” from the waitress. We then walked outside and seated ourselves with no menus. The same waitress came out and put coffee cups down and asked if we wanted coffee, and then presented annoyed when we said no thank you, like she had just put in a lot of effort to bring us the cups. The food was horrible; the toast and bottom of the eggs were both burnt and the English muffin was very soggy but also rock hard on the bottom. The waitress never came back to ask how the food was or refill waters. In the middle of eating, about five minutes in, the waitress came back and dropped the bill in the middle of the table. She then stood there without saying anything, and then said “oh you’re not ready to pay that….?????” We then fumbled for our wallets and paid. She didn’t come back for the rest of the breakfast. We felt like we were being rushed out, even though we were one of the only people there. Worst $30 spent for two person breakfast, I wish we had just...
Read moreFirst we were seated and waitress asked for our order for drinks. Kids ordered two chocolate milks and they did not like them, I tasted it and the milk was sour. I told the waitress and she came out with two more milks and two waters. We only asked for water and didn’t ask for more milk. She asked if the milk was ok and my daughter said it was better and she told us that she knew the milk was fresh. She then came out after placing our order and told us there was no more bacon and did we want sausage instead. We reluctantly agreed and it took another 20 minutes for our food. Scrambled eggs were runny, and had shells in them, two orders were wrong and waitress was never seen again Until she presented a $75 bill with a $12 gratuity already in the bill. I was examining the bill and the waitress asked me if everything was ok in a nasty tone. Paid the bill and left never to return. ...
