Ocean State Job Lot — Local services in Dennis

Like any Ocean State Job Lot, they offer a huge selection of many things.

They're definitely improving. Recently, I noticed it felt a lot less cluttered.

Honestly, it's improved, immensely, overall since my first visit, when I moved to Dennisport in March of 2021.

One thing I want to mention is that I realized it's little bits of stuff on the floor. For example, clothing tags, those plastic strips that allow you guys to hang any small product in the middle of any aisle, pieces of sticker paper -random, small bits of things like that, on the floor, that have been contributing to the cluttered feeling. I know it's probably not a huge priority to be sweeping the floor every hour or two when you have minimal employees, still, so while this is my only "criticism", please take it...

I always love this place. Each store has different items. Some are the same, but enough are different that my friend and I will make a job lot day and visit 4 of them. We start in Chatham, then Dennisport, South Yarmouth and Hyannis. By that time we are dead on our feet and we go somewhere to eat and talk over all of our purchases. I have to make sure my trunk is empty when we set out, because Lord knows when we are done, the car is just limping down the road under the weight of our treasures. The inventory changes constantly. We never go more than 2 weeks because we will...

I purchased a hose and it split. I returned it, the cashier was able to look up the purchase with my phone number and gave me a new one. The new one tore at the nozzle, I returned it with the box. The male cashier used a black marker to cross out the sku number on the box in two places and told me if it breaks I can't return it. I asked him where this policy is in writing and he told me to "move on." Rude, inconsiderate, wannabe dictator who was nothing more...
