While the productions are very good the cast selections after audtions seem to be the same people frequently! Unfortunately some familys can not afford to pay the prices for classes offered at this theater. It seems as though the people who get selected for parts in the plays are those who attend there acting classes. My daughter who has had theater experience in other theaters participated in many other musicals and plays and has never attended a class offered at Harwich Junior Theatre and has auditioned for many productions has never received a part in any of there productions. Why have open auditions if your not going to give everyone a chance to be part of the production? Read moreI had such a wonderful experience growing up at the Harwich Junior Theatre. I'm fortunate now to be able to bring my kids back to see plays when we are on the Cape in the summer. Their new outdoor stage is fantastic -- a great spot to bring the kids after a day at the beach.
