Absolutely delightful! My wife and I had a charming experience and look forward to returning! On our visit, we got the Timeless Tea which I think is very reasonably priced for two. We decided to get the seasonal sandwiches a la carte to add to our tray and I'm so glad we did. The seasonal sandwiches were a roasted tomato and basil crustini and they were just slightly warm with a bit of melted cheese on top. We enjoyed them and the egg salad and cucumber sandwiches. These are small sandwiches so I would plan to visit when you're in the mood for a relaxing experience and not super hungry. The scones were also delicious, their seasonal scone this time was a pumpkin spice scone that we loved. I'm not a huge pumpkin person but I really enjoyed it. The pumpkin scones were more moist than other scones I've had due to the glaze but the scone itself was also more cake like than some others I've had which I liked a lot. Their clotted cream is not in fact clotted cream but a sweet whipped cream. Still delicious and a lovely accompaniment, but good info to have if you're a clotted cream fan. They had a cinnamon apple tart, cinnamon apple muffins, raspberry tea cookies, and an assortment of fruit. I really enjoyed the muffins and the cookies, again a slight surprise for me as I'm not a huge muffin fan but these were light and flavorful. It can get a little noisy if there's many people in the space, but we were still able to have a lovely conversation even with two large full tables and music playing. It seemed someone was having a birthday party and it looked like they were having a delightful time, great idea for the Bridgerton lover in your life. We can't wait to bring more...
Read moreStepping into the Three Roses Tea Room felt like walking straight into the pages of Anne of Green Gables. Every detail — from the floral china to the charming tiered trays — set the stage for a truly delightful afternoon tea.
The Anne of Green Gables-inspired menu was as lovely as it was delicious. The tea sandwiches were dainty and flavorful — the cucumber dill stood out as refreshingly bright and perfectly seasoned. I also enjoyed the variety of savory bites, especially the ham and gouda roll and the fig & goat cheese combination that balanced sweet and savory in the best way.
The scones were heavenly — tender, buttery, and served warm with clotted cream and jam. I could’ve made a whole meal out of those alone! But then came the pastries… each one a tiny masterpiece. The mini pecan pie was divine — rich, nutty, and sweet in all the right ways — and the pumpkin brownie added a cozy touch of autumn spice.
The cinnamon tea was my absolute favorite — soothing, fragrant, and perfectly paired with the pastries. I also tried the raspberry cordial mocktail, which was as charming as its Anne Shirley namesake.
Everything about the experience felt thoughtfully curated and delightfully nostalgic — a perfect balance of elegance and comfort. Whether you’re a fan of Anne of Green Gables or simply love a beautiful afternoon tea, this is a place worth visiting...
Read moreI'm glad we have a tea room, but I think 3 Roses tea room could use improvement. When you order the tea, you are only getting one tea bag and large kettle of hot water without a tea cosy. As such, it is easy to finish the cup of tea prior to finishing the sandwiches, desserts, etc. At other tea rooms I have been to, you enjoy multiple teas when you order a tea so that you can truly have the tea with the mini plates and take your time enjoying the tea and plates. When I asked our server if you only get one tea for the exorbitant price of the cup of tea ($4.50), she replied that I could use the one tea bag I ordered multiple times. I thought that was shabby since obviously the tea will taste diluted and not as flavorful. I didn't think I would have to pay another $4.50 for another cup of tea. Also, it doesn't make sense to get a large kettle of hot water either since it will inevitably get cold without a tea cosy even if I ordered another cup of tea. I think the food was tasty and the environment pleasant, but without the said improvements being made I'm not sure I...
