My friend and I went to this location excited to get a blizzard and some food, but in the end I regret going to this location. As soon as we pulled up to the drive through the girl working the window yelled out our total and snatched my friends debit card. She handed us our blizzards and told us to pull around and wait for our food to be ready. As we were waiting I began examining my Oreo cookie blizzard, there were barely any Oreos in the blizzard and I asked and paid for extra. I even dug deep into the blizzard and there were barely any in there. I've been to many Dairy Queens and ordered blizzards with extra Oreos and I have never seen one look so plain in my life. I went in and explained the situation to what looked like the manager and she told me that in order to get more Oreos I would have to pay. She was very defensive and rude, so I just asked for a refund. If I pay for extra Oreos to be put in my blizzard I expect to see them, not a cup of plain soft served ice cream with a couple of Oreo crumbles.
I've worked in the food industry and retail industry for years, so I'm very understanding and patient. But, I would never treat a customer the way they treated my friend and I. Even if you know you did nothing wrong, you're supposed to go the extra mile and satisfy your customer not talk to them in a rude tone. She could have simply just put more Oreo's in the blizzard that didn't even look like a blizzard , instead of trying to argue with me about it. I could understand a little if I came in rude, but I was very calm.
From the rude girl at the window and the rude manager, it looks like this location needs to learn what good customer service is and maybe hire more staff so theres not only 3 people working. I will never be going back to this location again! Hope no one else has to be treated this way. I advise you to avoid...
Read moreWas really appreciative of them adding chocolate syrup to my blizzard to make it chocolate flavored. But everything else was a pure mess. I’m glad I had the free time, because it took about 30 min from when we waited till we got the 3 blizzard and order of large Tator Gems. At first we got the tator Gems and they were nice and hot and fresh. I was super excited about that. Shortly after, we got the first blizzard. I had asked for just a cookie dough blizzard. They gave me a Reese’s pieces blizzard with cookie dough. (I’m glad I’m not allergic to nuts!!!) they didn’t flip it over which kinda sucked cause that’s one of my favorite things about DQ. But now I realized why. The chocolate flavored ice cream was practically just soup with warm cheesecake chunks and canned strawberries… yay. I got to wait 30 min for a melted blizzard. I sat and waited another few min waiting for my 3rd blizzard. After waiting, The drive through employee finally decided to ask, “was there anything else?” And I asked for my third blizzard. She looked to her right, proceeded to grab another cup that has more than likely been sitting there this whole time, hands it to me and said “yeah sorry, it’s melted but we had a situation, so yeah.” At this point I had 4 cars behind me. So I just accepted it and drove away. My car is completely covered in melted ice cream because they practically gave me liquid with toppings? Not very happy. Wasted my time and money. I really miss how wonderful the experience used to be at...
Read moreCalled in a order for pick up. Showed up and door was locked. This was at 8:45. After standing outside for 5 minutes the staff finally notice I was there. Yelled through the glass that I was picking up a call in order, they told me to get in line through the drive through. Told him I was not waiting in line I was on my way to work. Continued to tell me to get in line. Told him you can keep what I ordered I was not waiting in line. Also when I called had to call three times before someone answered. I called after I left to speak to the manager and he said he was the lead there and would not let me speak to his manager. Asked him why the doors were locked because you don't close till 10 PM. His response was they were short staffed and running out of food, which sounds like a personal problem to me. What does that have to do with shutting down early. My problem is that when I called the order in he should of explained the situation to me before taking my order. Poor customer service. Will be by to speak to the manager about this. I frequent this place often and this is unacceptable. And the gentleman was very rude on...
