I recently visited Duluth Trading Company and was impressed with my experience. The store's cleanliness and well-organized layout made my shopping experience enjoyable and efficient.

Took some clothing back (not holding up) for exchange and was informed that this could not take place since the "No Bull Guarantee" had recently been changed to "after 1 yr, the No Bull Guarantee does not apply, so we can not exchange your items." This confused me, so I held up the branding packaging for the replacement garments and stated, "Here is the No Bull Guarantee information, can you please show me where it states that after 1 yr the guarantee does not apply?"

Please keep in mind that the Customer Cashier that was assisting with the exchange/purchase was extremely nice, it was the second Customer Cashier that came up and kept (multiple times) saying, no we cannot exchange since it is past one year, it is store policy.

Asked for the Store Manager, the second cashier made a very fast exit and the assisting cashier requested a Manager. Manager came over, explained to the Manager what had transpired, no issues with the cashier (very polite) and the packaging does not say No Bull Guarantee expires in 1 yr. The manager explained that there has been some confusion around this policy since the change and was due to excessive abuse. The Manager gave permission for the item exchange. I let the Manager know, appreciated the understanding and will keep this updated policy in mind.

We had relatives come into town and decided to take a trip to Duluth in Denton. We were not disappointed! We were greeted warmly, had assistance when we needed it, and we were left to peruse when we wanted to see all the goodies. We were given great advice, delivered in a sensitive manner, when trying to find pants for a more mature man in our group. He definitely does not need extra room in hips and thighs, so the slim pants they have are a much better fit. We are grateful for the advice and he has received many compliments on his new assortment of pants. The kids in the group had their photos taken in the vintage truck and on the John Deere tractor in front, which led to some family memories being shared. All of us enjoyed our time together, left with some good purchases, and gift cards were redeemed in person, which is always nice. All of the staff we interacted with are very knowledgeable about the products they sell, including manufacturing.
