How many times does it take for the people at windows to take the time to go over the customers order? Instead u are shoved Thur the line... Hurry hurry!! That's the moto.. cold food. Stale fries. No ketchup even after saying 3 times .. ketchup ketchup ketchup.. no apple juice that was ordered.. so grandson had nothing to drink so I gave my half melted spite to him and I did without.. burger over cooked probably in microwave... :( dry. Tasteless and need I tell u it was my "treat" to my 2 grandkids because food take out is so expensive.. it was 29 .00 for us to have small combos.. no sizing up. Ask for ranch . Nothing. And I paused at window stressing as I noticed they had placed everything mashed into one bag and I ask again..u placed blah blah in bag? Right? Because they had shoved 3 cold fries on top and they where spilled everywhere.. it's just so un fair that corporate businesses continue to rack up profits and over charge for less than decent food . But to outright ignore and lie ..yea yea everything is in bag,. I go over it... . Yea yea irrated they say it's all in bag.! Well I'm sure everyone be alright and no Mc Donald's will close .but as far as me ..an average consumer..I will never be back and will let my grandkids know why we need to go elsewhere. Should of followed my instincts and went to Braums next door . .. never again and will make a point to tell others to avoid McDonald's. Shame on u .. would have had to turn around and get out. Take one kid out of the car seat . Walk in and take half cold food and stand inline to ask for forgotten items . No no no . Much less offer me warm food . Threw most of it away. What a waste of money and time. Went home later and ate peanut butter sandwiches.. check ur bags people! Check your order! Check the freshness of the food . Probably u will consider as I did . Just stop going . Braums 👍 anywhere but...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this McDonald’s location on 5/18 around 1 AM. The employee working the drive-thru window—who I believe was the manager—was extremely rude for no clear reason. I genuinely believe they should be replaced.
My girlfriend and I placed a mobile order and provided the order number at the speaker. When we got to the window, the employee asked if the order was for "Grace" (at least that's how it sounded), and handed us coffees. We explained that our order was actually two fries and a McChicken. When we tried to show the employee our order confirmation to clear up the confusion, she dismissively asked, “What am I looking at?” and rolled her eyes. She continued to argue with us that we somehow magically ordered coffees instead of fries and chicken, and did not even try to look at other orders.
It turns out the order she had was for “Reece,” not “Grace.” While I understand that names can sound similar what was frustrating was that we never gave a name, only the order number. Rather than apologizing or clarifying, she chose to argue with us and remained dismissive throughout the exchange. I was actually shocked how mean she was for no reason.
What made the situation worse was that my partner remained calm and polite the entire time, despite being treated poorly. Mistakes happen, especially during a late shift, but basic respect and customer service should still be standard. A simple acknowledgment of the mix-up and a courteous response would have gone a long way, especially since no one was mean back.
I hope management sees this and uses it as an opportunity to provide additional training in customer service and communication, and maybe even replace that worker.
And after all of that, she made us pay...
Read moreI purchased a quarter pounder without cheese and a drink at the drive thru. When I got to the window to pay the employee told me that he didn't have change, because he gave all he had to the guy in front of me. (I thought he was kidding) and then he slammed the window closed. I then pulled up to the 2nd window and asked to speak to the Manager so I could confirm that they were out of change, and she confirmed it. I was then asked to park in the parking space to my right and was told they'd bring out my order. They did give me my drink while I waited so I was happy about that. Then 5 cars went thru the drive thru and left, then I realized it had been 15 mins and still no burger and I had to get to the recycling center before they closed and didn't have much time left...so I got online, found their # and called and explained that I was still sitting out there waiting for my burger and she apologized and sent it out with some fries. Had I not had to wait almost 20 mins for my burger, I would have taken my bank bag full of change inside to exchange for paper cash so at least they'd have change for their customers, but because I had to wait so long I didn't have the time. But my guess is, they would probably decline my offer and say it was against policy or something. I wonder how much $ OVER they had for the days that they supposedly "didn't have change" to give to their customers. After just a shift or two, they probably made enough cash to buy a steak dinner or three...just sayin'. (She said because of the ice 2 weeks before, they didn't get their truck in.) Since when does a company get change from a truck instead...
