We had a very disappointing experience at NH7 today. We went there for breakfast and ordered dosa, Mysore bonda, and poori. We were told that bonda and poori would take 20 minutes, so we decided to go with plain dosa, onion dosa, and idli instead. After waiting for 20 minutes, we received the idli — it was average at best, and the chutneys were watery and lacked any real flavor. We didn’t complain, hoping the dosas would be better. Unfortunately, the onion dosa we got next was undercooked on the edges and extremely oily. We let them know, and they replaced it with a plain dosa — but that was also undercooked and dripping in oil. When we asked for a refund, we overheard the chef inside saying things like “we can’t give a refund” while rushing to bring out yet another dosa, which turned out to be even worse — just a greasy, one. The chutneys were still terrible. We were supposed to get another dosa but we couldn’t just tolerate and we gave up, threw the food away, and walked out without even asking for the refund. On top of that, the cleanliness of the restaurant was very poor — definitely not a hygienic environment to be serving food in. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Poor food quality, lack of cleanliness, and extremely unprofessional behavior from the kitchen staff. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and they seriously need to consider hiring a better chef and improving their hygiene. They just keep you waiting to serve this kind of food!

Delicious flavor, but wrong order/weird experience. Not a very clean. Food was so tasty. I just suggest takeout over dine in. First off the server was VERY nice and mostly attentive. I’m not sure if my issues were related to a communication barrier or what. I ordered a Mango Lassi and I waited for my drink for 10ish minutes before I asked and they said it wasn’t available. Then they offered me a free chai. Ok. I ordered cilantro gobi after I asked their favorite gobi on the menu and we both pointed at it on the menu. They gave me cilantro chicken and I told them about the error but it was still tasty. They charged me for the more expensive chicken appetizer and not the gobi. Ok. They said rice comes with the dish and roti would be extra. I agreed. I asked for both rice and plain Roti with my butter chicken. The rice never arrived but the roti did. Ok. I’m not going to ask for rice now since the food already took 20 minutes to come out. But then they still charged me extra for the roti. Ok. I know I can be a spice wimp compared to most Indian people, however did they need to add “Note: foreigner” on my receipt? LOL! Confusing experience. Delicious food.

I called to place an order for three fantastic5 at 9:16 on a Friday when they opened at 9. The staff member informed me that the order would take 20-30 minutes. Despite mentioning that I had an urgent doctor's appointment and needed the food as soon as possible, the staff member made light of my situation. When I arrived to pick up the order at 9:40, it was not ready. I even mentioned that I’m open to change my food options. The staff member eventually handed me the food at 10:05, which was late despite my earlier request. Although the food was excellent, I was disappointed by the wait time. I’m attaching the time i have called to order. This is not the first time this happened. In normal times, I wouldn’t have cared much , because it happens and I can totally understand. But this time , it’s not fun.

Authentic Flavors, Fantastic Experience – NH7 is a Must-Visit in Denton!

I don’t usually leave long reviews, but NH7 in Denton deserves every bit of praise! We stopped by craving something flavorful, and NH7 exceeded all expectations.

We started with the street-style chicken noodles – perfectly spiced, just the right amount of heat, and that unmistakable desi street flair. Then came the burnt flavor chicken fried rice, and wow – this dish stole the show! It had that smoky, charred aroma that hits you in the best way, paired with tender chicken and bold seasoning. Truly unique and incredibly satisfying.

For the main course, we ordered the methi chaman with rumaali roti, and it was divine. The methi chaman was rich and creamy without being heavy, and the subtle bitterness of the fenugreek balanced beautifully with the creaminess of the gravy. Paired with soft, thin rumaali rotis, it was a comforting and indulgent experience.

We also tried a few chicken appetizers, and each one was well-cooked, flavorful, and generously portioned. Great variety and solid execution.

Yes, the pricing might make you pause at first—but trust me, once you take that first bite, you’ll know it’s completely worth it. The quality, portion size, and most importantly, the authenticity of the flavors justify every dollar.

The staff was polite and service was quick, even though it was a busy night. You can tell they put care into what they serve.

If you’re in Denton and craving real Indian street-style flavors with a restaurant-quality touch, NH7 is a no-brainer. Highly recommended – we’re already planning...

Title: Disappointed with Breakfast Experience at NH7 Denton

I usually don’t take time to write reviews, but after today’s breakfast at NH7 in Denton, I felt compelled to share my experience.

I ordered the breakfast combo and a separate poori with chicken curry. The combo included bonda, dosa, and poori.

Dosa: Honestly, it felt like the batter wasn’t even properly fermented. It looked half-cooked and was served in a rush — definitely not fresh or crisp.

Bonda: Extremely disappointing. It was soaked in stale oil — possibly reused multiple times. It didn’t feel edible at all.

Poori: Compared to dosa and bonda, the poori seemed okay — not great, but at least decent enough to eat.

Chicken Curry: I didn’t even touch it, so I won’t comment.

Tea: not good

We were really hungry and still had to eat just to fill our stomachs — not because it was tasty.

Message to NH7 Management:

Why are you serving such poor-quality food to customers? People come with expectations, especially when they’re hungry and genuinely hoping for a good meal. But you’re serving stale dosa, reusing oil for bonda, and risking people’s health.

To top it off, this disappointing experience cost $22 for just the combo and poori with chicken curry. That’s not cheap, and it’s definitely not justified for the quality.

Please take this feedback seriously. Improve your food standards — customers...
