Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Denton

I had just gotten off work and tried to place a delivery, which went in only for it to get passed off to Door Dash. This would’ve been fine, except they then gave Door Dash the wrong address, meaning the food never made it to me. When I called to see what could be done, they then proceeded to claim it was my fault cause they sent the address so I should’ve put the right one, despite the fact that I’m a student at university, and picked the campus and building as prompted for delivery on their website. When I mentioned this over the phone, the person over the phone made no effort to hide their sarcasm, claiming they’d “make sure this is immediately shared with the higher ups”. I love Papa John’s, and this was my first time ordering not from back home, and couldn’t be more upset with not the mistake on their end, but more so the clear and utter lack of care when trying...

Im leaving this review on here as to not single out my delivery driver. People generally order delivery for several reasons like injury, disability, small children ect... regardless of the reason the purpose of pizza delivery is to have it brought out to my door. My driver called and asked me to meet him outside my building on the curb. I explained to him that I was not able to do that because if I were I would have ordered carryout. I continued to explain that my lack of mobility was why he needed to go up the elevator one floor and deliver my pizza to my door. He did so and did not seemed thrilled at doing the basic of his job. If I could I would have removed the $10 tip I left him on the online order. Other than that the pizza was hot and accurate he did not provide cheese/peppers. I believe this is a training issue and can be remedied with out singling...

Finally tried this place and not so glad we did. Family got it once and a friend tried it the second time--against the protests of those who knew how bad it was, especially the "good deals." One time we actually found several hairs in the food. The second time, there were spots of crud. That's enough for us.

Someone informed me that the staff likes to "accidentally drop it" if the slightest thing pisses them off --you know those people that don't tip well, or come in a get pick-ups, and always assume they should never tip -they just seem like they are cheap, I guess.

On top of this, it's the cheapest tasting pizza you can get, outside of a grocery store. So we really want to avoid it from now on...this place is nasty! Treat yourself; have some...
