Starbucks — Restaurant in Denton

I stopped coming here last semester because my drink (the only drink I get from Starbucks for the past 3+ years) would never come out right, and when I tried to address how my drink wasn’t the right color or taste— they always argued with me about how it is in fact right even though it wasn’t. It’s especially weird that I can order the sake drink all over the state/country and I’d always get the same drink but I order it here and it always ends up messed up? Even the other remote Starbucks location across campus gets it right. I don’t understand what it is about this particular location.

I decided to come today because I didn’t want to walk in the heat across campus to the other Starbucks, but I’m regretting it. Again, my latter isn’t the right color/taste/consistency and I’m sitting here not even wanting to drink it. I got up to talk to them about the drink and see what they did so I could figure out why it isn’t right so we could fix the problem. There were two young ladies there arguing with me about how it’s exactly how I ordered it, even though it once again was not. 🤨😜

If I’m paying nearly $10 for a single small iced coffee— should I not be able to drink the coffee? When I’m paying that much for an iced coffee, it’s kind of just ridiculous that Starbucks employees would argue instead of just fixing the drink. Idk, maybe it would be different if I had never ordered the drunk before or didn’t get the exact same thing every single time I order from Starbucks, but I KNOW what it’s supposed to look/taste like.

Usually there’s not many problems with this Starbucks although the new employees need way more training. They were wayyyyy too slow with taking orders I mean there’s no sense of rush and everyone is taking their sweet time. Also, the cashier was confused when I told her I wanted and Iced Triple Espresso with Blonde Espresso… she was looking around on how to make it blonde and then ended up asking for my phone to look at the script I had written and just held onto my phone for about 5 minutes figuring out how to input this simple beverage and ended up making this ?? (attached) which was way more expensive than my og $3-4 order. I had to reiterate multiple times the size and creamer I wanted it was just a mess. Great location on campus with an established brand and great product. Unfortunately, the store is constantly being restaffed with students workers with OJT, which cannot keep up with the tremendous demand from students during primetime hours. Right now, I sit at the front booth waiting over 30 more minutes for a pumpkin spice scone, listening to the mutterings of customers 'he forgot to add whip cream' and 'I asked for 3 shots of espresso'.

My suggestion are training sessions in the morning to better prepare staff, and perhaps better inventory procedures and visible warning messages when items are out of stock. My time is precious and this establishment with its slow service and inaccurate order makes me want to take my...
