University of North Texas Dining Services — Local services in Denton

Given we are coming up in thanksgiving break, I wanted go to the dining hall, Eagle Landing, to use my swipes. Since i’m heading out of town for the holidays, I brought my own containers from home, since they don’t provide any unlike other universities, to take my food with me. As I was leaving, I was stopped my 2 employees and was told to throw my food away. When I asked why, she said that I was not allowed to take my food out of the dining hall. I asked where I could find that rule and she couldn’t give me an answer. In the end, I went ahead and threw it out since it wasn’t worth the hassle, but I already paid for the food and I will not get that swipe back.

My issue is no only was it wasteful to have me throw away my food that I already purchased, but my didn’t the university make it known that students can not take food out of the dining hall? I looked on the website and couldn’t find anything regarding that. It is very ignorant to tell people where they can and...

When I was ready for check out, I couldn't believe that my wallet wasnt inside my purse. I told the cashier that I would put the food back, and she told me to wait by the cashier. She came back with the manager and she said that I didnt need to worry, and that she would pay for my food. I had never had someone do that for me, and overall I was very grateful for the manager's action. If there was more than 5 stars on this review, I would do it. for the salad bar y’all need to put some chicken and more protein there’s no reason I had to go to the sauté bar for chicken for them to try and charge me 5.75 for a little scoop and 2.75 for a little extra ..nope...
