I lived in A tower my freshman year it is was a nightmare. No locks on the bathroom doors (though I understand why), one washer that was constantly broken and two dryers that were always full of other peoples clothes so I had to use the other floors laundry facilities, screaming and running in the middle of the night (even though there were "quiet hours"), ladybugs (as well as the occasional grasshopper and gecko) in the lights, no hot water for the sink, shower was clogged after living there for one week and it took another week to fix it (despite me and two of my roommates all calling it in to the front desk), took a week to fix the light above the sink, kicked all residents out over the break so if you had nowhere to go (like myself) tough luck, everytime someone flushed in another suite you could hear it as the toilet would start to make noises, and a murderer broke in to the tower one night and the staff decided it would be best not to tell us (even though thats a major safety issue) So if you're okay with all of those then this place is perfect, but I personally wouldn't let any of my relatives or friends stay here in the future. Otherwise, food is okay and RA and front...

The building smells like weed 24/7. The walls are thin, so it's very loud all the time. It's very likely that you will be woken up in the middle of the night by random, loud noises caused by residents. I can't remember the last time I got a good night's sleep here. I'd describe Kerr as more of a playground for grown adults, who act like children, than a dorm hall. For reference, I...
Β Β Β Read moreLived here my senior year of college (poor, no car). Is okay, but the laundry situation in B tower is awful- one washer and two dryers for the whole floor (roughly 40 people). You have to find odd times like Thursday morning or Wednesday afternoon to do laundry if you want to do it in peace. Beds are easily loft-able, but can be shaky and squeaky. Rooms are very small, but have quite a bit of storage. It's okay, it's a roof over your head, but it's not the most fun place to live, unless you're an RA maybe, or the...
