Loroco-Loroco is a climbing vine with edible flowers that is native to Central America. Decided to check out some of the food trucks we have been seeing around town. Most were Indian fare and neither of us were feeling that adventurous so we settled upon a Central American cuisine named Tia Sandra Tacos and Pupusus- corner of University and Malone on south east side. Read moreThis is IT. Taste just like Abuela made them. (I’m Salvi, I promise you I know.) This was such a great find for me. I’ve been craving GOOD pupusas, I’ve been trying to make it at home. Not the same. This is an art that this woman has perfected. I’m so happy I found this spot. She was out of chicharron (Pork but different than Mexican chicharron for Salvadorian pupusas) but the frijole con queso (just beans and cheese) was so filling and delicious. Read moreHOLY SMOKES. This place is freaking awesome. Wad craving pupusas and came here on my lunch break. I got two pupusas; one with cheese only and the other with cheese and chicharron. Extremely tasty, savory, and fresh!! I widh I got a third :’) The little salsa was so good too. Sandra, the owner, is so kind. Their system was down so I paid with Zelle. I’m so glad I came here!! Will be back!!
