I'm absolutely perplexed about the negative reviews here. I wonder if I caught them on a really good night, or y'all got an off night lol? I visited after work all day, first thing I got to eat all day and I was starving. Logically in that state, I ordered the big freakin' nachos and big freakin' chicken quesadilla. Let me tell you, they're not saying that just for fun, those portions are ridiculously generous for the pride point($6-$7 each). I was also pleasantly surprised at how saturated my nachos were with the meat, cheese, beans, and especially guac and sour cream! 😋 The food was nice and toasty and the chips were crispy and perfectly salted. I was absolutely STUFFED after only the nachos, so I saved the quesadilla for later. It was a sit down restaurant entrée sized as well, with a wonderful grilled flavor and buttery tortilla. I didn't even use the salsa or condiments(which I was happily offered!) because I enjoyed the flavor alone so much.
Most importantly, the service tonight was lightning fast and courteous! I pretty much immediately had my order after paying. Special attention to the lovely lady who took my order tonight, who made sure I got salsa, asked if I forgot a drink, and chatted with me while I was waiting for my food, in a very friendly and genuine way. It really made me smile and was refreshing and much appreciated! Will...
Read moreI think we visited this location for the last time. My family and I are late eaters, so our dine in options are somewhat limited. We have eaten here many times before, this is just an account of 3 most recent visits going back a couple of weeks. Our first visit, we stopped in after 9pm. There was no Tea, sweet or unsweet available. Ok, coke it is. The second visit, no tea again, and this time all condiments were removed from the salsa bar. The third visit, tonight, pretty much the same results. We got there about 830p this time. Ordered our food, no Tea available, had to wait and ask for 2 cups. We ate our meal, asked for 2 Tea refills to-go, and were informed they were out, that someone in drive through just got the last of it. I asked the guy, "I thought you guys were open late, what time do you close?" He replied the dining room closes at 11p, and it would just be a waste to make more.
OK. So you have dine in customers wanting Tea, drive through customers asking for it, and you refuse to brew more even though your dining room closes 2 hours later, and drive through later than that?
I understand fast food, and when its closing time, everyone's ready to go home. I'll be happy to take my family and money elsewhere, so you and your staff can focus more on shutting down early, since focusing on customer service clearly isn't a...
Read moreVisited this Taco Bueno on 5/28/23 and hoping the experience would be good as one person I was with was a first timer. This is the Taco Bueno in Denton on W University Drive! The food was ok nothing to write home about! The men's bathroom had NO handsoap to wash in the sink. This is something that is a MUST and the bathrooms should be checked regularly, maybe once every few hours! However, the worst part of our visit was the rude shift lead, older lady with glasses!! She was totally rude and we had to repeat ourselves 3 times, probably because she kept walking off doing other things which was also INCREDIBLY rude! I watched her facial expression with an attitude and she rolled her eyes at us!! Im not sure what she didnt understand about our order as we all speak very fluent English! I asked what her function is and she told me shift lead! Taco Bueno corp, you need to have a serious talk with this individual and/or remove her from working on the front line with customers!! We almost walked out but we were very hungry and we had a long drive home! I do hope this is addressed and noone else has to experience the same rude behavior from this individual especially if she is a...
