Teriyaki Madness has a simple menu, but they're clearly focused on doing it well--the food was great, and I'll definitely be coming back. I had the teriyaki chicken bowl with fried rice and stir-fried veggies, plus an order of crab rangoons to start. The rangoons were a surprise hit--they looked more like mini tacos or empanadas, perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Total comfort food. The chicken had a little more char than I prefer on some pieces, but it was still juicy, and I'm chalking that up to new-opening kinks.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming, even if they were still working through some early hiccups. There was a bit of confusion when we tried to use a BOGO entrée coupon from their app, but they stuck with it until it got sorted out. Once we were settled with our food, multiple team members came by to check in, which was a nice touch and showed they care about the customer experience.
As for the space, the interior is small, and we ended up at the last 2-top table in the hallway by the drink station and restrooms--which sounds worse than it was. It actually wasn't bad, and the whole place had a clean, casual vibe. The prices were fair, and the portion sizes were just right--not too much, not too little. Like Goldilocks, it hit the sweet spot.
I'm definitely looking forward to going back once they've had time to fully hit...
Read moreWe are waiting for this place to open and then when it did, we went there and the place is very small on the side. There’s not much seating to sit down with your family and eat the food is only OK. It’s not worth the money we spent. We got our food to go and the girls still made a mistake on the order and then she didn’t tell us the correct price and tell us that is a dollar more for noodles after she said you want noodles or rice and then after we pay and we get the receipt, we see the charges a dollar more for noodles and then she told us that it’s cheaper if you get the cookie with the meal, which didn’t make sense we didn’t want drinks so she told us to do a meal and it be cheaper and then we get it for a medium meal and a large meal was $40. It’s freaking crazy the price the food is only OK. They got a long ways to go and the manager is there and she should’ve caught this or talk to the woman when she’s making mistakes on her order we had to repeat the order to her...
Read moreThis was our first time ever checking this place out. We were in the mood for something new and looked on Google for options. We stopped in on our way home to enjoy lunch. We are certainly glad we did because the food was fantastic! They chicken was tender and flavorful. The veggies still had some crunch but cooked well. My husband had his with the noodles, I had mine with the brown rice. I tried a bite of his noodles and they were delicious! They complimented the meat well and absorbed the sauce perfectly. The best part was the service. The young lady was sweet and explained how they do orders personally to everyone's taste. The only thing I'd suggest is that she spoke up. She's very soft spoken and at times difficult to understand but she was a sweetheart. She even checked on us mid meal. All around we had a great experience and...
