Tom's Daiquiri Place — Restaurant in Denton

Bars are hard...that is because, well what I think, is that you have no real control over your market. The gentle people that strolled in at the start of the night were well-kept good-hearted dutiful citizens...but nature shows us that among them are imposters, shrouded by a lack of inebriation, and when they finally reach the city limit of turnt land, the human garbage it doth flow. The problem with Tom's (Tom, I'm sorry it's not your fault), is that the science is showing that 3/4 of their market is made up of these shrouded garbagio boys n girls.

The hardest part about this review is that the people who work here are great, and they probably have the best live music on fry, and the drinks are top 3...but just the gosh-dang people that it attracts that prevent me from coming here. Maybe, Tom's Martini Lounge or Tom's Whiskey Shack will come along and change up the game, but for now, I just can't get myself in the...

I love going back to this place when I’m in Denton. I used to work at the art store in the mid 90s. They still have the mural it was on the outside of the art store on the wall by the bar. It is a fun environment with the best daiquiris. We played darts and it was so much fun. The bartender was really accommodating and awesome with suggestions of adding to the daiquiris. Free pool on Sunday and Monday nights! Tuesday pool tournament! There's trivia Wednesdays. Thursday karaoke. Friday live music. Saturday DJs. Also, an awesome outdoor area. I'm a big fan of their tap beers!! Unbeatable prices :D
