Though I've enjoyed their sandwiches a few times, Which Wich is not my "go to" sandwich shop. However, on a recent road trip we stopped at Which Wich. I ordered the California club and it was one of the most delicious sandwiches I had ever had. I had forgotten they're sandwiches were served warm. 8 days and 2600miles later, we were back. We swooped up our kitties from the kitty hotel, dropped our bags at the house, then headed to Which Wich! It was pretty busy for just the one person (owner/mgr) behind the counter. As I watched him taking orders, taking money, and making sandwiches, by the way he washed his hands every time left the register👏🏽💗👏🏽 I appreciated that he moved with a sense of urgency yet was careful to maintain a higher standard while building each sandwich and the quality of the sandwich did not suffer as a result. I happily commended him on all of this and happily ordered my Cali Club again. Since I knew it would be a couple of hours before I got to it, it came as no surprise that it wasn't quite as delicious as the first time but still very good. 3 days later, I headed off for yet another Cali club. The owner was there alone again. He did remember me this time which was nice. I ordered we chatted, I paid, we chatted some more and then I went home to enjoy my sandwich. However this time I discovered there is no avocado on the sandwich. Disappointed? Yes. However, oftentimes these things happen when places are fully staffed, so no big deal. I was saddened the most, when I called to inform him of the minor mistake. His response to this information was "you know, I remember looking at that sandwich thinking 'something isn't right' but I couldn't figure out what it was" he found it quite amusing. I however did not. I simply said "oh wow" and lightly chuckled along with him. There was a bit of a pause before he offered to replace the sandwich. I told him it would probably be several days before I was back in. I thought he would at least jot down my name or something but he did not. He just said "that's okay that's okay when you come back just tell me" I then then asked "what happens if you're not here? How would the other employees know?" "I'm always here!" What happened to the standard of quality? Knowing something isn't right yet serving it anyway. What happened to the quality? And not even bothering to to write down at least a name to be sure He doesn't forget. Since he's there "all the time" What happened to the high level of service he was providing his customers? I felt completely let down and ignored. I have not been back since and I...
Read moreI haven't been to this location since 2015 and maybe I should have kept it that way. I ordered a turkey club regular size and go to slices of thin, cut, turkey, thin, cut ham, and precooked bacon. WAYYYYY too little meat I almost couldn't even tell it was there. I also got lettuce, tomato, pickles, black olives, cucumber, and spinach. When I tell you I literally got half a slice of paper thin tomato per side of my sandwich, two pickles, one cucumber slice four chopped up black olives, and two pieces of spinach that's NOT an exaggeration. This was a $10.50 sandwich that ended up being worth and less than $3.
We waited for 30 minutes for two sandwiches and mine was a coldwhich(untoasted). There were only 2 sandwiches in front of ours. So that was INSANE. I work at a food truck and make meals fresh off the grill in under 10 minutes.
We also ordered a large fry with which sauce, and they forgot to make it because he didn't hang the ticket for it so we then had to wait for that.
We didn't get a receipt so I have no clue how much I was charged for the fries we got but there was no way that was a large. We asked about it and all he said was we only cary one size.
Will not be going back. Not worth the...
Read moreWhile customer service is good, these sandwiches are horrible. They may taste fine, but I've seen several ingredients dropped on the floor—primarily the meat and bread—only to be picked up and used to serve for customers. I knew someone who worked here, and he stated that sometimes the avocados and lettuce would still be sliced while actively going rotten. My final straw was being given avocado on my sandwich when I stressed beforehand that I was allergic. While I do not believe it was malicious, it was still a mistake that could have landed me in the hospital. I've watched them make sandwiches before—there is no care about cross-contamination, and they will constantly use the same tongs for different vegetables, even if there's juice all over it.
I urge you not to come here. It is truly a bad place, and with the updated hours, I'm sure they're starting to go out of business. Please go to ANY other sandwich place—these sandwiches are already overpriced. I have some wonderful sandwich...
