Atomic Cowboy in Denver is a must-visit spot that offers a unique dining experience combining great food, a vibrant atmosphere, and a sense of community. Nestled in the heart of the city, this eclectic eatery serves up an impressive menu that caters to a wide range of tastes, making it perfect for brunch, lunch, or a late-night bite.

One of the standout items on the menu is their famed biscuit. It is enormous, big enough to split, and absolutely delicious. The biscuit is perfectly baked, with a golden, crispy exterior and a soft, fluffy interior that melts in your mouth. Whether you enjoy it plain, with butter and jam, or loaded with savory toppings like fried chicken, bacon, or gravy, the biscuit at Atomic Cowboy is a culinary delight that shouldn’t be missed.

The rest of the menu is just as impressive. From hearty breakfast burritos and mouth-watering burgers to creative salads and flavorful tacos, there’s something for everyone. The ingredients are fresh, and the dishes are prepared with a level of care and creativity that elevates them above standard fare.

The ambiance of Atomic Cowboy adds to its charm. The interior is a mix of rustic and modern, with exposed brick walls, quirky décor, and plenty of seating options. It’s a lively spot that manages to feel cozy and welcoming, whether you’re there for a casual meal or a special occasion. The friendly and attentive staff further enhance the dining experience, ensuring that every visit is enjoyable.

Atomic Cowboy also features an excellent selection of craft beers, cocktails, and coffees, making it a great place to unwind at any time of the day. The drink menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a range of local brews and creative cocktails that pair perfectly with the food.

In addition to its fantastic food and drinks, Atomic Cowboy fosters a sense of community. It’s a place where locals gather to enjoy good company and great food, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. They also host events and specials, adding to the lively and engaging vibe.

Overall, Atomic Cowboy in Denver is a standout dining destination. Its delicious, generously sized biscuit is a highlight, but the entire menu and experience are well worth exploring. Whether you’re a Denver resident or just passing through, a visit to Atomic Cowboy promises a memorable and satisfying...

Broadway location. Spanish speaking only and teens are not welcome here. I have always enjoyed eating here, and sat to enjoy family meals. However in my last 2 visits this month I encountered 2 unsettling situations. One was a group of teens who seemed to have been playing games and overflowing onto the aisle because they were at a booth. The entire staff was out in the dining area asking them to leave, saying "you're making me feel uncomfortable". What are the table games for then? The kids all got together to pay their tab, almost didn't have enough and we would have gladly paid for them. I've seen unruly and disrespectful kids and these were not it. Instead of kicking them out onto the street, have some patience. The staff continued to stare at them when they were already outside of the place. These are the reasons teens become disrespectful to adults. On top of that, we needed extra condiments and nobody came over to check on us. There was basically nobody around to wave down. We ended up walking to the bar to request what we needed. My 15 year old was with us and i asked him to not come to this establishment with his friends. My son is well mannered but when teens are with their friends, they have fun and they get loud, a gentle reminder is all they need. This last time my daughter and her husband were picking up their order and an Uber eats employee went to pick up an order, he didn't speak English well and the employee told him " if you don't speak English I can't communicate with you ". You can at least try to help your own business, it's your job. If I was there I would have helped translate. A majority of people here are bilingual, please learn some kindness. I will not return for a while as I'm very disappointed. I hope...

Just finished eating here for the first time. At first I had high hopes for this place but soon they disappeared. When I first got there the servers were polite. A waitress asked me if it was my first time there and I told her yes. She said she would get me some water and help myself to the open coffee bar. I was there around 1 pm. I went and got some coffee but it was warm slash on the cold side. I didn’t know that the coffee was charged from the waitress not stating that. I ended up paying $5 from drinking two thirds of a cup of cold coffee pretty much. I ordered The Franklin and a slice of pizza to test both sides of the food experience out. The pizza came out first again not really hot but warm. 10 minutes later the biscuit sandwich came out which was delicious but again on the warm side. I ended up eating my pizza and a few bites of the sandwich before I decided to take the rest home. At this point the menu was already picked up by the waitress. I asked her if I could get some extra gravy and she said “of course”. Again didn’t tell me it was an extra charge. I figured my bill would be about $25. She brought out the check and it was $35 basically. $10 more than I expected. I told the waitress that I didn’t know the coffee was a charge and she said “oh” and walked away lol. Overall I think the food was ok/decent. For having a $35 bill I would expect the food to be more hot and the coffee. And also this waitress should be a little more trained on explaining pricing to her guests. Ps at the end after she charged my card she had my receipt and card in one hand walking all around the restaurant picking up plates and stuff then dropping off my card and check. I didn’t like that very...

We were here this morning for breakfast (Broadway location). While we normally love DBC, this time was much different. According to our receipt our server was Martha. Anyway, we get seated, and of course the server does not offer to get a high chair. My husband had to go get the high chair himself. She brings us waters, and says she will be back. She comes back, and said "Are you ready to order?"..... She hasn't even taken our drink order yet. So we proceed to order our drinks and let her know we need to look over the menu still for our food. She comes back a bit later to take our meal order. My family's drinks come, mine does not. Then our food comes, I still have not received my drink and now I haven't received my meal either while everyone at the table is already eating and drinking. Once I receive my meal, I still have not received my drink. Then upon leaving, we asked to add a to-go order of two cinnamon rolls, one with bacon. I received the rolls in a bag from the waitress, who was eager to start packing my other food before I could check the bag. Found this strange, so I opened the bag to see that the cinnamon roll we just paid damn near $10.00 for with bacon was HALF THE SIZE of the cinnamon roll without bacon for $6.00. normally the rolls are pretty consistent in size. I have not had such terrible service from DBC until having this particular server. This was a huge disappointment considering, if your going to charge 3.00 for bacon, and about 6.00 for the rolls, I would expect them to be consistent in their size. I have attached a photo to this review.

I helped my son move to Denver from New Orleans, and he suggested this place for breakfast the next morning. He has been visiting friends in Denver for years and said this was one of his favorite places for breakfast, so we went. We got there about 10 am on a Sunday morning and had a 45-minute wait to get seated. The menu is simple, and the service was great. The workers were on the spot as soon as a table cleared, they were cleaning it and had the next group seated within a few minutes. While we waited, I saw the size of the biscuits as servers brought out food to others. My son encouraged me to "split" a meal with him, so we did. 10 year old granddaughter wanted a cinnamon roll, and it was the size of a loaf of bread! So we helped her with that and still had leftovers of it to go. She was excited! He and I split a Franklin, which was a fried chicken breast topped with thick bacon, cheddar cheese, and sausage gravy. It was very good and half a meal filled both of us. See the photos for more. He had Irish coffee and I had a bloody Mary. Excellent dining experience and easy to see why it took so long to get seated! Still worth the wait.

Came here for a Friday morning breakfast. There was a small wait, but was seated within 10 minutes on the outside patio. It was a nice day, so it was pleasant to sit outside. Service was very fast and friendly. There were many different biscuit sandwiches from both sweet to savory which can further be customized with an an egg, made Nashville hot, made Vegan, or made with Biscuit French Toast. There's also lighter, traditional breakfast plates such as French Toast, Granola, eggs with meat, shrimp & grits, and pot pie. The biscuits each had a unique combination of ingredients that were interesting, but went well together. Food all came out within 15 minutes and the biscuits were large. Everyone enjoyed their sandwich which was very filling. I tasted them all and preferred my Franklin, but would've been happy with any of them. They were out that morning, but came back the next morning for the Giant Cinnamon Rolls, one with bacon and one plain. They were definitely giant and good. I recommend you come early as they do sell out of them. Fun place to come for a unique twist on breakfast with sweet and savory options.
