Sadly this is one of those gentrified establishments that over charges for their everything. The guy working there was friendly enough to not be rude, but didn't say anything about the brewery that the beer comes from, except for that it's local. I had a beer, one beer and I was charged over 6 dollars! That's gentrified to the max. I could accept $3.50 for a local beer, VS a $2.00 Budweiser, but over 6 for a local beer. Come on! I'm from a county that has lots of local Brewers and it's supposed to be cheaper than getting imported. The beer had a sour, been sitting to long taste to it and I was never given a coaster. The crowd that showed up is your typical fake Denver hipster crowd. With a haughtiness that says, I'm here to feel good about being overcharged. After checking my debit card transactions, I saw they added a tip after I called to let them know I was charged 8 dollars for one beer. "I didn't give a tip". Unless your as stuck up as this establishment, don't bother. FYI, if your a smoker, their outdoor drinking both is non-smoking, and their attitude changes to demeaning if you ask for an ashtray. If your looking for a better attitude, there's lots of other choices in the area. I give 2 star's solely for location and cleanliness of the bar...
Read moreCool spot. Unfortunately, I came in with two friends while we waited for our table elsewhere that was supposed to be a 45 min wait. We each ordered a mimosa. We got the text that said our table was ready so we would be leaving after this drink and asked to close out. The server, who was overall awesome, asked if we wanted chambongs.. I guess a quick way to drink down our mimosas since we were leaving quicker than intended. We said sure. She came over, poured the mimosas that we initially ordered into the chambongs and we drank them that way (one mimosa would fill a chambong at least 3 times). Our total for 3 mimosas was $54. Initially, I thought wow.. trendy bars have high prices, that's expected. I checked out the website this evening and saw mimosas are only $9 each. Chambongs are $7 each. She charged us for using the chambong even though she used our original drink. I guess I feel stupid and feel like I got scammed. I never got a receipt and didn't ask for one. Just thought someone else would...
Read moreUmmm, this was some of the most lovely surprises I’ve had in a while. We were just strolling by when we heard the most glorious voice (turned out to be the owner) bellowing out the open windows letting us know they had brunch cocktails to go. So, while waiting for our table next door we popped inside for a quick drink. Well, we were there a total of maybe 9 mins, but in those 9 minutes we lived a FULL life.
I had one of the best bloody Mary’s I’ve had in ages (dill-forward in the BEST way 🤤), blew bubbles (🤷♂️), voted for which of three non-profits I wanted to receive their quarterly donation (😍), and drank a mimosa from a champagne bong (👯🎉).
Fun was had. Drinks were delicious. Cackles were cackled. This was one of those magical moments with friends that are impossible to curate...you just have to put yourself out there and hope you stumble upon a gem like this.
10/10. HARD...
