The croissants are amazing, thatās a fact but the service is too bad and the personnel is so rough and sometimes rude, they look decent but to offer a good service you need good ppl with a fair sense of hospitality, courtesy and genuine kindness not a fake smile. I have few experiences that itās embarrassing to tell. Few persons there should not be at the counter anymore, they can help behind the walls. Sometimes making good products is not enough to do deserve a star. My intention with this feedback is positive because I am a big supporter of Bakery four, the owner made a remarkable path, we are also happy and lucky to have you, I donāt want this success story to be diminished by poor customer service, we want to have a service at the level or the croissant. I am sorry but I will not step into your store anymore until I donāt see those persons anymore at the counter. I prefer to give my money to someone who deserves it even if they have a slightly lower croissant quality.
Message to the owner: you did your homework and you made it the hard way to reach this product quality now you need to focus on customer service if you want to sustain your business or improve it. Beside personnel you also need to consult with someone to improve your work flow and organisation, you donāt look pro at all while your product is pro.
Just to list one item: Making pasta and handling raw ingredients next to ppl lined up and the toilets is not compliant with basic hygiene standards. You figure out the rest ā¦
BTW, I know this store very well and I was a customer since when he started at his house back in 2021 on Fridays.
I read some 5 starts below rating customer service, it might be true coz I was not referring to everyone in the store but few only who treated me so bad. I will tell my few experiences that made me write this review. I was literally shocked and couldnāt understand if it was naturally rough or intentionally mean, but for sure that was so far away from values of hospitality and customer service.
I encourage everyone who felt something wrong about this store to write it down here and not be intimidated by the number of 5 stars because 1st business tent to layback and relax once they get some good reputation. 2nd consumers critics are important to raise the standard and in every aspect

Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat bakery with really nice service.
The lines can get really long but then occasionally can be quite short like they were today on Thursday at 10:15 a.m.
The pastries tend to cost around 6 bucks a piece and the loafs are around 11.
Their pastry selection does often change, though there are plenty of staples so I always check the daily menu before going . Me and my friends go to's are the garlic knot, the regular croissant, and the cardamom bun. Everything is made from sourdough.
A few things they have had just a few times that I've loved: the vanilla custard pastry, I absolutely was in love with the pulled short rib croissant, though I only saw that once and would absolutely go there just for that again.
I haven't really liked the curried potato croissant, the scones, the monkey bread is super sweet, and the bagels are fairly dry.
Sadly, I really don't like their coffee and have heard the same from several others. I tend to go down the street to Mod coffee if I want my coffee fixed. They do serve Natalie's juice that's the best store bought kind and are in small kid sized containers.
Parking is city parallel parking and is better on Thursdays than Fridays. They're only open Wednesday to Sunday. Their bathrooms are nice and clean but don't have any kids stools.
I suppose I wish they would encourage people to follow the arrows on the ground so the seating isn't blocked when the line is long; it should double up on itself and not go through the seating area.
There is a great park across the street that a lot of families come to to play with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBakery four is a wonderful family owned small business!! My last visit was Saturday, when I arrived just about 8 am to the opening line with my list to buy 23 different pastries, bread, and breakfast burritos. I didn't put in an order ahead of time, and they were so quick and patient with me. When you have a line out the door and someone comes in with a huge order and slows down the line, I know that's stressful.
As customers we come in starting our mornings, looking for breakfast, coffee, getting breakfast for others, looking for a sure thing, the pastry we want (my favorite Rose Brioche Bun), etc. When they sell out of the pastry you were hoping for, or the coffee machine is down, it does feel like a ripple in the routine. And that's okay. Because drip coffee is still coffee. Customers are allowed to have hard days, and so is bakery four. To constantly have a line out the door is crazy impressive!! I love this small business, the creativity of the pastries, and knowing that they are supporting me on my hard days. Weather I just got out of the hospital, or am grabbing a treat for a friend.
And I can support them on hard days too. So if the line is out the door, I don't mind waiting, (the Peach BBQ Brisket Roll and Strawberry Shortcake Cruffin are worth it! Trust me.) If front of house seems a little tired, because maybe they haven't had their own morning coffee yet, I'm happy to support Bakery four! As their T-shirts say "It's Okay to Feel Crummy š And that's true for us ALL š Love...
