Read moreThe coffee here is decent- even though overpriced I would come here occasionally especially since it's so close to my house. Recently I had two pretty bad back to back experiences. I don't know if someone was in training, but my boyfriend and I ordered a cold brew and I ordered a cortado. We paid and my boyfriend got his drink, then I waited there for literally close to 10 minutes. I could see my espresso shot ready under the machine. The two staff working there continued to do odd jobs like restock cups and not address the fact I was waiting. A party of 4 women came in to pick up an online order. Overhearing the conversation It was obvious the women were running late to pick it up.
Almost immediately the woman working started getting their order ready- still had not addressed me as I waited for my now cold espresso shot. I politely reminded her I had been waiting for my drink for a long time and got jere before they did. She told me that they had an online order that was placed before me and continued to make their drinks. One of the women in the party told the staff member she could finish making my cortado since they were running late.
It was literally just such an unbelievably horrific customer service experience. I understand things happen and normally I wouldn't have minded waiting- but it literally took me 15 minutes to get a drink that takes 2-3 mins tops to make. All she had to do was finish pouring milk into my espresso.
Also, I would have really appreciated just being spoken to and informed about what was happening- I felt really uncomfortable and like a nuisance just to get my drink I paid for. This staff needs additional training in efficiency and customer service. That experience lost them...
Read moreI am not as big a fan of this location, simply because of the small size. Seating is incredibly limited and there are only two outdoor tables. The wifi works well, like their other location, but it's almost impossible to find a seat to sit down and do any work whenever you go in. I really like that it's close to the beer garden and some fun restaurants - it is also a really nice location for pets, since there is plenty of grass outside. The parking can also sometimes be tough (even though the lot is HUGE) because of the number of other restaurants around.
They serve the same burritos as their other location and the coffee is just as good. Most of the baristas (particularly the women) are friendly, or just need some time to warm up.
Overall, a great place for a cup of coffee, but maybe don't plan to work here unless it's an off...
