I’ve been to this ice cream shop several times before and decided to go tonight to end our Sunday night with my boyfriend and sister. We arrived at approximately 9:02 and stood outside the stand a couple minutes before we realized it was closed. There were 3 ladies inside that failed to acknowledge us and I would even go to the extent of saying ignored us. As we walked into our car two women walked up to the stand and were IMMEDIATELY acknowledged by the person doing cash count. She didn’t open the door but directed them to the sign with all the flavors. One of the two women walked over and back to the counter and the employee directed them to a side window as another employee served an ice cream. There was absolutely no exchange of money and the woman walked away with her free ice cream as we couldn’t even get someone to acknowledge us. I understand they were closed already and did not want free ice cream, but this happened at 9:06. This reflects poor customer service and I would say racial bias on the employee’s part. We are taking our business elsewhere and will let our friends to do so as well, as we cannot support a business that...
Read moreFocusing on the Ice cream place itself. Its all about the aesthetic and not the quality of the ice cream.
This is all about the aesthetic here. Went on a late Friday night in August. The area was busy but the line for ice cream was short.
The flavors here are really interesting. My bf got one of their berry flavors and I got some caramel chocolate. Considering the price point and the amount you get it may not be worth coming to all the time, just for when you're there for the museum or just the aesthetic. The lemonade in the rocket was not worth the flavor. It was extremely watered down. It felt like I was drink water that had once lemon slice in it. The cup is very cute, which was the main reason I bought it. Workers were nice, nothing much that stood out. This place is definitely trying to mimic Little Ice Cream man located in Highlands Denver (Worth it) but in the shape of a rocket ship. I think it would be nice to go there...
Read moreI am an ice cream lover! That being said, if you enjoy good ice cream, this is not the place. First, standing in line there was a heavy mist pouring all over everyone. It was an overcast afternoon so at this point, unnecessary and more akin to Splash Mountain. Everyone was audibly complaining but they didn’t turn it off, which was kind of silly. Then, my ice cream just doesn’t taste good. People in my group complain to each other about theirs as well. I go up to try classic flavors like chocolate and strawberry to replace my double flavor order that I don’t like, and they are still kind of bad (a weird consistency, not creamy, uneven distribution of flavor). The Cookie Monster was the only one I tried and enjoyed.
Pros: Cute vibe, lively, fun theme. The employees were kind and helpful.
I am not a hater, this ice cream just wasn’t very tasty and my hair got unreasonably wet...
