Time for someone to check their ego. Cashier was quite rude. I made a take out order for a turkey sandwich , gf and I are splitting it. There's a section on take out menu to add on things , remove , extra charges and what not . Note to staff, "please put Gouda on side." Not a crazy request. Not a hard request . Very easy to accommodate .

The sandwich only has 7 ingredients turkey, greens , bread, tomato, onion, mayo and cheese . But mine only came wit six .

I enter, I give my name and cashier say we don't do anything On side here . You don't want cheese on sandwich we don't put it on side here. That’s it. No sorry , no explanation why , no kindness, no customer service, worst of all no thank you for my patronage. let's be very clear- I’m okay with restaurants that don’t accommodate change orders - but set the expectations , if you don't take changes to order , why is there a section on take out menu for requests if you just are gonna ignore them . Ambiance is non existing. . It's a wooden table outside of kitchen . Food is delicious but cashier staff needs to check their ego...

Curtis park deli is the best sandwich shop with true artisan quality fresh baked bread in the Denver area with counter service!

I just went to Mr Lucky’s sandwiches yesterday, another top sandwich shop, and man I don’t know why I go anywhere else for the best Italian sub in Denver.

The FOOD at Curtis park is phenomenal! The bread is the best sandwich bread I have ever had without going to a gourmet restaurant. It has all the complexity in taste and texture of a quality homemade loaf. The meat and cheese quality as well as the thickness of the cut of meat is delicious in taste and blends well with the texture of bread. The produce is always fresh and the dressing they put on the greens is absolutely amazing and not over powering. Hands down the best Italian sub I’ve had.

The service is laid back and chill. Not formal. This might rub some people wrong but I like it.

The atmosphere is a basic old sandwich shop but you won’t notice while you are face deep in their high quality sandwiches and chasing it down with a fancy soda or kombucha. Go...

I've been there twice so far and will definitely be returning! The food is awesome ( I have had the beef sandwich as well as the Curtis and both were bomb) but the overall relaxed and welcoming attitude of the folks that work there is what puts this place above and beyond other sandwich shops I have visited. Greetings of "hello, darlin!" as I've walked in the door, both times, and the kind of hospitality you'd get from a close friend ("water's in the fridge, grab whatever you want and no rush, just pay when you're done") come standard with every delicious sandwich.

I've been there during the lunch rush, when every seat is taken ( goes to show how many ppl dig this place) and I've gone in when there were just a few late lunch stragglers like myself grabbing a bite and the quality did not waver either time.

These dudes know how to make a mean sandwich and I'd highly recommend making a point to...

I'll start with the food: it was a pretty solid/ good sandwich. Mind blowing? No, not at all. The bread is very "crusty" and the chips are very thick and almost painful to eat as well. However, this is the style of newer/ upscale deli. My meal, with a tip, was just under $27. This is high for a turkey sandwich. But what really gets me was how rude and arrogant the staff was. No "hello" - but he sure did make a point to point out the 25% tip option. When I left, the cashier also cut me off from exiting which was also odd. No "excuse me" or "thanks for coming in." At the price point, this place needs to get some much better service and much better ambience. The staff was so negative that I really didnt even want to finish my $27 meal there. Suffice it to say wouldn't tell people to not go there- but be prepared to spend an exorbitant amount of money on a sandwich and to be borderline disrespected. 🤷🏾‍♂️
