My partner and I stayed at the Queen Anne in May. While we were initially hesitant with the higher price than other lodging options in the area, we felt it was more than worth it.

To start, the architecture of the building (one of the oldest houses in Denver) has a beautiful quaintness to it that led us to explore the different rooms and art among the walls. There was a shared living room space to relax after a long day trip, plan out an excursion, or meet other travelers staying at the inn. Nearby the living room was a small room which the innkeeper used as an office space, however there were always pitchers of water for guests to take and borrow (much needed in the higher altitude of Colorado), as well as fresh baked goods from the innkeeper on a daily basis. Outdoors there was a beautiful garden and seating area to eat breakfast outside, and upstairs housed the bedrooms and guests. My partner and I stayed in the Roof top room with hot tub access, and we were impressed by the clean and updated interiors. Laying in the hot tub on a cool morning before an excursion was incredibly refreshing.

Perhaps the best part was meeting Milan, the owner, as well as the other inn keepers. They were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Any requests were fulfilled in a timely manner, and Milan was always a pleasure to talk to in the mornings, as he gave us many trip suggestions for things in the area.

Last but certainly not least was the amazing cooking by Milan, who also has training as a chef, as he cooked us an incredibly tasty breakfast every day. He uses locally sourced foods and ingredients, and quite honestly we enjoyed his cooking even more than our dinners out at restaurants.

Everything about the stay was a joy and we would highly recommend...

I just had my bachelorette party here (rented the entire B&B) and I am obsessed with this place, it was so wonderful and exceed all expectations. All of the rooms had so much charm - the artists lofts especially are enormous! everyone absolutely loved their rooms (comfy beds, very good AC which was great in the heat, super clean). ||At the risk of sounding ageist, I was a little nervous about booking out the B&B for my bachelorette because I was picturing a quiet elderly couple staffing the B&B that might not love interacting with a group of 12 mid-30s women. But that was not the case at all - all the staff are very cool/friendly/artsy and will match your vibe (i.e., will chat if you want to chat or leave you alone if you want quiet)||Nicole really took care of us and was very attentive and helpful and easy to talk to. The breakfast was delicious - especially the fresh pesto that Stevie (chef) made from scratch each morning. One of my friends had to leave for a flight at 5am and Stevie & Nicole (w/out us having to ask) left her a little to-go bag of muffins and oranges (since she was leaving before breakfast) + a nice note. The owner even came by and said hi to us, gave us Denver recommendations, and explained the history of the b&b which involved bringing in a bunch of local artists to design all the rooms. It's a very cool place.||The B&B is right across the street from a nice big park, and a short walk or very short drive to RiNo neighborhood where we spent a lot of time. The first night our group sat on the big back patio in the garden and ordered pizza and drank wine and I just felt so comfortable like I was hanging in a good friends cute backyard. I just can't say enough good things about this place but will stop...

The Queen Anne is actually two homes each with unique rooms, and one which has the kitchen and common areas. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms very clean and well-cared for. There is limited street parking, and limited parking hours on the street during the day, but they also had some parking in the back. Between those we always found a close spot. They ask guests to sign up for a preferred breakfast time in the common dining room (unless you request a tray be prepared to take back to your room or decide to skip), to make sure they can accommodate everyone as each meal is prepared hot and fresh. There isn't a wide menu selection, but with some notice beforehand they were very nice about working around my milk allergy. They even prepared muffins specifically that were dairy-free. Other guests had vegan meals and seemed satisfied. The food portions weren't huge, but most people had leftovers or seemed satisfied, and the the food was DELICIOUS! We had two pastry options, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs with optional veggies, and a type of spiced Indian (like the country) potato flat bread that I would happily eat almost every day. We stayed in the Artist Suite #1, which is located in the second house, which meant we did have to step outdoors for just a short bit between the homes for breakfast, or to get the fresh cookies they put out at night. The room had a beautiful, calm feeling, with a couch and a working fireplace that could not be simpler. Every room is unique though with different furniture and amenities. There are a fair amount of stairs and steps, even for those on the ground floor, and I don't think they allow young children, but over all I would definitely recommend the Queen Anne!

We had an amazing one night stay in the Queen Anne and I would recommend it to everyone! We did the self check-in as we arrived later than planned which was not a problem at all. Our room was lovely, clean and well equipped, the shampoo they provide was so nice and the matress of really good quality though a little hard for my liking. There‘s a community fridge that you can use and a 24 hour water and tea station. We were lucky and got the last of the home made cookies too. Breakfast was fantastic! Coming out of your room and coming into the breakfast area feels like visiting your parents on a weekend and them just waiting to spoil you with homemade meals. That’s how lovely the staff is! We chose the garden to eat, got waters, orange juice, a sweet breakfast plate and a southwest omelet delivered to our table and I would honestly come here just for breakfast if that was an option too. The B&B provides a lot of info material about activities in and around Denver and is perfectly located in the city. Downtown and Larimer Square are absolutely walkable. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend one or multiple nights in the city and would love to come back.

This was by far the best hotel experience of my life!!! Excellent and absolutely blew my expectations! The house is so charming with beautiful surroundings and greenery everywhere and a really nice park right across the street. The vibe the shared spaces were truly nice and a beautiful garden in the back. Staff was beyond accommodating and kind letting me in to drop off my suitcase before checkin time and even was able to get me in with my room ready before the promised time. I didn’t drive but heard one of the few places providing parking downtown Shared refrigerator, nice tea area with freshly baked cookies from scratch in the afternoon! On top of all this, the owner himself is a former executive chef and personally made me amazing breakfast to order!!!!! Wow!!! I was truly treated like royalty here! Highly recommend and when back in Denver not staying anywhere else! This place is simply spectacular ❤️ thank you, thank you, thank you for everything!!!! 🙏
