This place might as well get ready for a law suit‼️
St. Francis Staff is neglecting the trauma care informed training in order not to accommodate the Homeless needs
St Francis Staff believe their emotions and feelings come first before the emotional support needs of the Clients
St Francis has been discriminating, illegally discharging, falsifying information and documentation, misrepresenting it's Creed and Mission Statement of own Organization.
I have been with St Francis since 2014. Some of the new staff that has been there since 2018 has been putting clients out of the services and building for dancing, having crisis's without calling for paramedic assistance
St Francis Staff has not had the proper training and if so the training goes to gross misconduct. This is a real review. I was kicked out of St Francis today 09/08/2021 for having Tourettes which is uncontrollable and unpredictable. I also have PTSD that was triggered by Staff today.
St Francis Staff believes it is okay to harass clients abusing position of power. Once Staff get a hint of your disability crisis they will tell you cannot use their services and is banned from building.
St. Francis Staff and the Organization needs to be held accountable and immediately. Joel, which is the Director of St Francis. In my opinion stuck between a rock and a hard place. Only because he has to continuously protect his Staff from the gross misconduct. Joel has informed me over four different occasions meeting with him that he will train staff again. Seems to me Staff is still incompetent in handling their job delicately instead of provoking and antagonizing client to boot them out
St Francis Staff believes it is okay to break Human Rights and Disability Rights 100% when Clients start to have crisis moment. Due to the leniency laws because of Covid St Francis is much more responsible for suicides by clients, triggers towards the clients, illegally banning mentally ill clients for having episodes without training of descalation. All this during Covid meaning for coverup.
These are strong allegations and I stand by them‼️ St Francis Staff needs to be held accountable...
Read moreI recently went for an interview for a peer navigator position and was hired, immediately. I quit the job I was working because they said I would start on August 5th. They didn’t actually start me until the following Monday; therefore I (a single mother, already struggling, financially) was put in a terrible financial position—immediately. My employment lasted a week. Ronnie kept giving me the creeps. He would come to the desk I was sitting at and demand that I take my bag out of my lap (as though my lap needed to be exposed) as he leaned over my shoulder to show me how to perform a task on the computer. The very first time I got to go to the homeless shelter on 20th and Curtis, I got really excited, because a homeless man came over and asked me about our program and I actually knew what to say; in the middle of it, the gal I went with came over and very rudely interrupted us. I ignored her and kept talking to the man and she demanded that we leave. When we got back to Saint Francis Center, the woman left, and Ronnie took me in the office and asked me what happened. I explained to him what happened and even showed him the sheet that I had started filling out with the homeless man. Ronnie told me that that wasn’t the story he had gotten from the woman I went with and that we would all have to have a meeting on Monday. I’m the kind of empath that trusts my gut. I quit, immediately. That place wreaks of toxicity. I’ll be surprised if I don’t end up homeless, after this. I wanted to warn everyone else out there that was thinking about...
Read moreI had sat down today with someone who shed light on the things taking place there, very disturbing, how donations are being used by staff and how some are turned away if the ones in control of the help needed do not like you and ones they like are repeatedly helped on some cases taken in before someone who has been waiting for hours. I am ashamed to see my brothers and sisters treated in such a fashion, when it starts being about the numbers instead of the people I would have to take a look at this organization. Maybe the staff should spend some time on the streets with nothing but the few clothes on there back dealing with a over-priced housing market, addiction, mental issues, abuse and lord knows what else, but when one comes in off the street just to be treated like they do not deserve to be loved is very unfortunate and it hurts my heart to hear about corruption in a place designed to HELP! If you can not put your brother or sister before yourself, why are you working there? I challenge anyone there, if you see mistreatment of someone less fortunate than you document it and contact one of the other organizations and direct that individual there, please know that no one deserves to be treated unfairly or belittled. I will also do some undercover work and contact a news crew if I see anything that would allow someone to think they are above someone else that is clearly less-fortunate than them. Thank you for the talk today DB it opened my eyes to who I have been giving my money to, it will not...
