I've been coming here for years but the food last night was poorly prepared. I didn't complain about the food because I'm a regular. However, the bar staff made a mistake and there was an additional drink I did not have on my tab. They took it off, but made sure I knew they were "not in the business of giving free drinks." Incredibly rude and unnecessary. When I tried to explain that I was genuinely not trying to get freebies the bar tender told me I was lying and made up a story about my father. She said she "overheard him" correcting me about how many drinks I ordered. (Convenient he had already left at this point.) Complete nonsense and when I complained to the manager she just told me her staff doesn't make mistakes. I will never come back to this place and neither will my family (including my father who has been coming here for 20+ years.) I want to go to a place that is inviting and clearly this is not the place anymore. People make mistakes, but there is no excuse for being rude. Also, this was the first time I had ever complained at this establishment. Bizarre that this is how I was treated even though the bar tender had served me many times in the past.

What an absolute disaster of a dining experience. I wish I could give zero stars.
The service was hands down the worst I've encountered in Denver. Our server completely ignored us for the majority of our visit, walking past our table multiple times without so much as eye contact while she chatted up what appeared to be regulars at the bar. We received exactly ONE drink from the time we sat down until we asked for the check - that's it. She was clearly more interested in discussing her weekend party plans than actually doing her job.
But somehow the food managed to be even worse than the service. Absolutely zero flavor and genuinely inedible - I took exactly two bites before giving up and asking for the check. For an Irish pub, their fish and chips had about as much flavor as wet cardboard that's been sitting in the rain for a week. It's actually impressive how something can taste so aggressively bland.
The complete lack of professionalism combined with food that belongs in a garbage can makes this place an easy pass. Denver has an incredible restaurant scene with countless amazing options - do yourself a favor and choose literally anywhere else.
This was such a poor experience that I felt compelled to warn others. Save your time, money, and taste buds. Darcy's is not worth a single minute of your evening.

Read moreI was seated fairly quickly, but waited about 5 minutes to be served. I ordered a beer to start. Before my beer was delivered, I had the chance to read the entire menu, front and back. My beer was placed on my table without so much as a glance in my direction.
'Ok, perhaps my server doesn't think I'm ready to order?' I asked myself. So, I took a sip of my beer and waited for her to come back. I took another sip, and another. I finished the beer. I stared at the empty glass. I checked my phone. Finally, my server came back and asked if I wanted a refill.
'Actually, I would like to order some food.'
I ended up ordering the Adult Mac and Cheese. It was brought to my table soon after. The food runner brought me my silverware, since my server failed to do so. The mac and cheese was excellent - I highly recommend it.
My server never came back to check on me until well after I had finished my meal. I asked for my ticket, which was promptly delivered. I realized I needed an adjustment on my ticket, but wasn't able to flag my server down again for another 20 minutes.
Frankly, I thought the food was excellent. The...
