Flower Child — Restaurant in Denver

I have gone here many times to get family to go orders. The food is healthy and pretty good which is hard to find. My lower star rating is due to an experience I had yesterday. I placed a to go order in the parking lot. I then went inside and told them I was here. I waited for 40 minutes. However, my biggest complaint is that there was a lady waiting much longer than I was. Finally as I was leaving (after sitting for 50 minutes at least) she asked about her order. They looked around and saw that it was sitting in the back area of the kitchen on a table. When they handed it to her they did not say sorry but "its probably still warm". This lady did not complain but she should have. 2 recommendations for this place....give people something if they are waiting a long time, a coupon, free fountain drink while they are waiting. How much would that cost you? Also, show some level of compassion towards customers who are waiting a long time and say sorry if you make a mistake. Lastly, how hard is it to call a name out when you put an order on the to-go table. There were about 7 people waiting for orders to go in the restaurant. Why do we need to walk up and look at the name every time an order is placed...

We had a very unusual situation. On Sunday, we had a party planned. Late on Saturday, the catering restaurant called us and cancelled our reservations for catering. At close to 8pm the night before our party, I was scrambling to find a new restaurant that could cater our party. I spoke with Hannah at Flower Child twice Saturday night to get questions answered. Our guests included people who are vegan and a person with celiacs disease. We needed a combination of vegan,gluten free and regular foods for everyone else. I felt like Flower Child went above and beyond to make our party a success. The party went off without a hitch. Everyone absolutely loved the food. The wraps were amazing, fantastic flavor profiles. The GF wrap was an excellent texture and taste. The GF items were separate as were the vegan items. The meal was absolutely delicious. Flower Child supplied all utensils including serving spoons, etc. We were able to get drinks, and salads and sides,desserts,etc. I owe them a huge thank you for pulling our party together at the last minute. And a huge thank you to Hannah for taking my calls on a busy Saturday night and answering my questions when I was...

THIS PLACE IS HEAVEN.

I drove by in January and the name grabbed me immediately––my partner and I are vegetarian, so we're always looking for great, healthy restaurants in the area. I knew right away that this place would be fantastic (wasn't aware that they already had other locations at the time).

We went the night after they opened and it was BLISS. The interior was so beautiful...straight out of my dreams. Whoever did the interior design for this place deserves a raise––it was GORGEOUS. Totally warmed my frozen, Colorado winter heart.

The food surpassed our expectations. The tofu was excellent, the staff was friendly––the line was very long but went by super fast and there was plenty of seating still available. Needless to say, we're already in love with this place and would come just to sit and observe the beautiful interior (but of course we'd end up stuffing our faces too because the food is TOO GOOD).

Loved this place. 10/10. So happy they're in the neighborhood and absolutely cannot wait for the patio to open when it gets warmer! Thank you,...
